I'll go first: Arkham Knight. Having a blast so far. Way more complex compared to Asylum.

So I did the affinity 2.5 photo processing benchmark using my dell laptop with the 1165G7 and iris Xe and compared to a asus laptop with the HX 365 and 890m graphics onboard. Supposedly the 890 is the be all end all of on chip GPU performance. Well my pc posted a 4690 for GPU performance, the 890 that was tested posted a 3367. Is this because I have 64gb of ram?

If that's not enough for you to at least get the toes wet Skyrim has vr and with gta v having an unofficial vr mod..I think it's safe to say vr is the next big thing. So what are you waiting for..quest is only 160usd. Price of a 2tb ssd

Hi guys, I thought I'd share something with the community. You can download for free and use DLSS FG for 30 series cards I have not tried it with 20 series cards but its confirmed with the laptop 3060. all you do is download two files then copy and paste them into each folder where the exe for the game is. really easy then you simply enable fg, not tweaking nessessary, and this will breath new life into you 3 series cards, for example the 4060 has 10 percent faster performance and like 80 percent fast performance with fg, now i can re gain some of the loss and have it within the 10 percent preventing me from the need to upgrade.

step one: sign up or login to--- dlssg-to-fsr3 (Replace Nvidia DLSS-G Frame Gen with AMD FSR 3 Frame Gen) at Modding Tools - Nexus Mods

	step two: extract the files

step three: double click and run this file

I was thinking that it would be good to have a thread dedicated to one of the largest vg franchises of all time. This is for any and all GTA stuff you want to post. I'll start off by with the official R* homepage.

	https://www.rockstargames.com/

Here's a link to some news on GTA6, unofficial of course. Taken right off the top of a google search.

	https://www.gamesradar.com/gta-6-release-date-news-trailers-map-gameplay-rumours/

My understanding of 6 is that it will be in the South Florida region, thus continuing the regions used in the first trilogy. NYC, Socal and South Florida. It would actually be nice to get a different region say NOLA, UK, Europe, S. America etc but looks like RS is sticking to its guns.

My favorites of the original 3D (NON-Remake) trilogy go like this. 1. San Andreas, amazing game still fun to play 2. Vice City, great music and Miami Vice tie ins. 3. Liberty City, this was HUGE when I was in college, had some grad friends who were WAY into this and got me into it(they were into one of the Quakes too in LAN lol)

My favorites of the current trilogy are: GTA4, gritty dark story that jives w the GTA genre, SP focused, great DLC's, detailed gameplay, more realistic car handling. GTAV is also an amazing game, having lived in Socal it really feels like it, incredible graphics that are very efficient hardware-wise, NOT a fan of the online stuff, MUCH better controls and general QOL than 4, Action movie story, really cool character switching, NO SP focused DLC ever released, MODS!

Can't comment on the original 3D trilogy remakes, never got them.

The original 2D games I never played but I did have some cousins that were into it way before GTA blew up, watched them play it around 1998.

From what i can find on this laptop, it seems like it's 1 ram stick. Does ram being dual not really make much odds these days? I haven't bought a new laptop for a while, so not sure if it still matters as such.
If they are still better in dual mode, it's odd they would opt to create a pretty expensive laptop with just single stick if it would be faster with 2 x 16gb.

I've seen this floating around and looked into it and noticed it really helps with the open world AC games that run on dx11 and below and other older games. This was originally done for linux gaming compatibility but others figured out it helps with windows older games resulting in fps gains and lower cpu etc in some situations. Next time I boot up origins or odyssey will def try it out.

This is still a big title to warrant more discussions and with today's big patch landing, I'm thinking it may even be time to start another playthrough. Well, maybe after Dying Light 2 🙂

Can anyone recommend a good came for older guys? Not a shoot-up game if possible. Just want something that is engaging and to increase my brain power before dementia sets in. 😁

Now I'm very excited for this game that is scheduled to release on october 10th 2023 for xbox and PC. It is looking truly next gen and will not be coming out for xbox one it will be a game pass game but i'm going to be buying it for 79.99 when it releases. The graphics are insane, I remember seeing horizon 5 for the first time and thinking, is this real do I get to play with this or is this pre rendered. Now step forward 3 years and they topped horizon 5 with full ray tracing and 4k textures, as for customization you can change just abouut anything from tire pressure to how much gas you have in the tank. I am very excited for this as I'm a big Forza Anything fan and love every single one of their releases as everytime they release something they take it to another level.

I was just thinking a games screenshot thread would be cool rather than clogging up other threads. Always good to see what other games look like. Request as little post processing as possible, just real in game shots even just printscreen paste to paint stuff. Photomode is cool just try to not do tweaking to the image unless it's necesarry(thinking of cp77 needs wide open aperture or you get blurry lines around your character)But whatever no worries. Maybe put your resolution playing at if you like etc Uh well I've been binging again mods, lots of play on RDR2 so here's one. Used Rampage to get the snow on the ground map wide this is near Annesburg.

These are my uses: 3D, Video editing, gaming, TV series, movies etc.

	My Laptops requirements:

Silence: needs to be Zero Noise while listening music, seeing movies, navigating internet sites, general office work. It is a PC manufacturer engineering shame that a minimal smartphone can do this but not a big laptop.

Thunderbolt : needs to be able to work with top eGPU's for 3D, Video editing and gaming, also other uses like AI.

Screen: P3 colour but with also a good 100% sRGB setting available. 17.3 or 18" screen.

	Internal GPU: 16GB VRAM minimum..

RAM: soldered modules not acceptable unless it is 64GB and the laptop is cheap.

CPU: single core needs to be stronger.

Battery. 99wh, consumption should be very low without components pushing. 8-9 hours minimum for navigating web, general office, listening music.

	Weight: Ideally around 2-2.5kg

Ideally we should be able to add VRAM to laptop or that RAM as same class as VRAM and add up to the memory pool like Apple Mac's. PC's are facing defeat from Mac if Apple fix their performance and software availability issues.
