What is the weight of your laptop? In the youtube review linked above the RTX 5000 model weighs 2.318kg. I'm curious how much more the vapor chamber weighs.

Are you sure about this? I remember reading reports that the BIOS option to disable the dGPU was still present on the Studio G9.

Looking at the Precision 5680 owner's manual the height dimensions are: Front height 26.17 mm (1.03 in.) Rear height 26.17 mm (1.03 in.) While the spec sheet mentions: Front: 20.05mm, (.80in) Rear: 22.17mm, (0.87in) Quite the difference!

Longevity issues aside, as long as OLED flicker is present it's not suitable for a workstation IMO.

Seems HP ditched the Z logo for the G10 series and went back to the classic HP logo. It's quite a shame as I found it a cool distinguisher from the Elitebooks and all the consumer models. Anyway, I'm mainly looking at the 16" studio and it seems just a minor spec bump compared to G9. They offer the gorgeous DreamColor matte screen but otherwise the machine is quite unremarkable.
