Anyone know if the 285H will be a decent enough improvement over the 185H to justify waiting for it? Any other improvements in the chassis or ports between the gens?
CAMM2 is less expensive I am seeing, but still 2x what sodimms are.

I went to look at getting an outlet 7780 but they are using CAMM only, so yeah, 2k for 64 GB. WTF was DELL thinking.
Let me expand on this. I want to do a full restore of my laptop back to factory. DELL is saying they don't sell/have anything that can do this, so I am left with this:
https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000125230/how-to-create-and-use-the-dell-recovery-restore-usb-drive
which apparently just makes a recovery point from your existing install (so it has to be in perfect working order, which mine is not) or a basic Windows recovery download/install with no DELL drivers.
Just spoke with DELL and they no longer sell USB recovery devices, so how am I supposed to get a full recovery USB with the OS and DELL drivers integrated? They keep pointing me to the Win recovery process but are leaving out how to get the DELL drivers integrated into it. I know the DELL stuff needs to be installed in a particular order so would like an all-in-one solution. Any help is appreciated.
Right, and going to 128 GB is 2,000

Even on Amazon its 1100 for 64GB

CAMM going to be the only memory option going forward with DELL? I noticed that going from 32 to 64 GB now is $1,100... this would be an absolute deal breaker for us using DELL from now on.
What's DDU? Res change works, yes.
I have no DELL apps or drivers installed that relate to video - no diaplay calibration, nothing. I don't think I have optimus installed.
I'm using 536.45 but honestly I don't know if this is the DEL signed driver or not...
haven't tried the BIOS adjustment yet, can't reboot at the moment.
Hi all, I am not able to adjust the laptop screen brightness - I have tried the keyboard keys, the mobility center, the display setting, the NVIDIA control panel... nothing I do works. The screen is pegged at 100% and is over saturated, not sure how. Thoughts?
DPM 7760, Win 10 Pro, switchable graphics off.
This is kind of what I was planning on doing, but am out of USB C ports - does this work with USB A?
