  1. I have one 64mb rom bios chip as well as 2 EC chips
  2. Is on the way.. I only have to find the old working bios version then. FN + B (recovery mode) doesn’t work? Also it has 2 bios chips, isn’t one suppose to be the backup bios for such cases?
  3. Yes, I already ordered one. Should arrive within the next 3 days. Is there anything I can do now? oh I read it wrong.. only option I see.. weird part is that the clevo support told me that the bios version was the right one
  4. Hello there, i think I made a big mistake.. I was trying to update my bios using the official clevo update https://my.hidrive.com/share/yze8mg-wf8#$/BIOS and EC Firmware/CLEVO/P_Series/P7xx_Series/P7xxTMx/P7xxTM1(G) ec worked fine but the bios flashing gave me an error - rom id not matching. So after a lot of google research I decided to edit the flashme.nsh with a /x command that would tell the Afuefi to not check for rom id. After that I was able to flash the bios, with the information that it would be a forced update and it is recommended to not continue.. well smart me decided to do it anyways. I was so smart thinking well if it fails I just reset cmos and I’m back to normal… not realizing cmos would be the new version then.. end of story I have a black screen now, pc starts, fans spinning but black screen. Tried everything, with/without cmos battery, ram, graphics card. Nothing happens… it starts and after 30 seconds goes into a loop of restarting over and over. i can take some roasts but would be nice if some expert could also give me 1-2 tips (if there is anything to try left).. thanks!
