  1. Yesterday, the upcoming Garmin Forerunner 955 & 955 Solar were listed by a store called Beach Camera: https://web.archive.org/web/20220522181701/https://www.beachcamera.com/products/garmin-forerunner-955-fitness-smartwatch-whitestone https://web.archive.org/web/20220522182037/https://www.beachcamera.com/products/garmin-forerunner-955-solar-fitness-smartwatch-whitestone According to them, the base 955 will cost $499, with the Solar commanding a $100 premium. That sounds almost too good to be true, considering the 945 launched at $599.99. The base Fenix 7, which doesn't have multi-band GNSS and comes with 16GB of storage versus 32GB, costs $699.99. If you want multi-band in a Fenix, you need to pay an additional $200 for the Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar. For that price, you also get a titanium bezel and, as the name suggests, sapphire glass. The 955 models make do with fibre-reinforced polymer and Gorilla Glass DX. They're also a tad smaller and lighter than the Fenix and Epix series, save for the 7S. The launch is expected early next month, where the standard 955, plus the 255/255S in music and non-music flavours, have been spotted in certification documents earlier, whereas the 955 Solar has only been listed by RunningShop.se prior to Beach Camera, which could indicate delayed availability. Garmin is also expected to unveil the Edge 1040 soon for the cyclists out there.
  2. I'm currently watching the sixth season of Better Call Saul and Bosch: Legacy. They have a relaxed pace in common and I'm enjoying them both. 🙂
  3. Thank you for putting in the effort on such a short notice to get an alternative forum up and running! It's clear to see that being liberated from TechnologyGuide also presents a lot of opportunities. No longer will Charles' requests and community suggestions fall on deaf ears! I appreciate how the subforums are now less biased towards notebooks. The forum already looks slick and feels very responsive. Great work!
