I am stuck in a similar situation , I have an Alienware m17x that I am trying to get this 980m to work with. I had it working somewhat to where you could play but after like 5 minutes the game got all laggy and stopped working. I gave up on it and haven't touched it in 2 years. I finally pulled it back out and am trying to get it to work. I reinstalled windows and it seems to recognize the graphics card but I can't get any drivers to work. If someone can walk me through making this work and work right I'll cash app them 50$
