Wanted to sell mine aswell in that time didn't do it and I haven't checked in ages the second hand market for 4090, just did it today and did the prices took a nose dive or are scams? I see a lot of 4090 around 1000-1200 euro..like 500 less like last time.. is the same in US? At these prices i will just keep it until 5090 or just skip a generation..

Little late but i think they are crap, the touchpad on my Asus G15 Zephyrus just died from nothing, 10 months old machine. Also didnt use it that much, i had always a KB and mouse attached to it. Just did a new Win install cause i wanted to sell it and after the install touchpad is dead. Doesnt work in BIOS, new WIN 11 Install or in Ubuntu.. tried bios downgrade, hard reset, drivers and everything that is to be done.. Guess ill send it to RMA, lets see what they say. But thats is with Asus for me, after the AMD Board was crap now the laptop is also crap 🤣

MSI 800-series motherboards feature extra 8-pin PCIe power connector for next-gen AI GPUs. Hmmm so more power hungry 5090 or they are adding an extra cable after the 12 hpwr fiasco. https://videocardz.com/newz/msi-800-series-motherboards-feature-extra-8-pin-pcie-power-connector-for-next-gen-ai-gpus

Windows 11 is crap as usual😁

Well well, generation skip😃. It's remind me of the 13 to 14th gen intel cpus. Useless amd generation. I think the x3d will also be duds. But at least we can put some money aside😀

Also don't forget about that new Curve Shaper option, will be interesting to see what can we do with it on the oc part. @jaybee83 we care for stock perf only on AMD😁😁😁🤪

JAY sometimes is a NOOB I mean everyone is running 6000 mhz on am5 atm.. also hes always choosing stupid RAM...but at least he's figured out now🤣🤣

Also PBO is the way

At least they are good in Linux and avx 512🫠. Ill will wait for x3ds.

How slimy can Intel get????🤮 Intel has denied two of my 14900K RMAs (instability) and stated they will confiscate or destroy them if I proceed with the warranty process. https://www.reddit.com/r/LinusTechTips/s/dXBEzcXPdA

Bad times at intel indeed, that workforce cut is massive..really bad decision making across the board. Losing on all fronts. No worries @Papusan that Ceo will get a good chunk of money if he goes away. He doesn't care. But the employees and we the customers will get screwed again😑

Significant lower price for the new Amd chips. https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/cpus/amd-ryzen-9000-price-listings-now-on-best-buy The prices range from $279 for the Ryzen 5 9600X to $599 for the Ryzen 9 9950X. Although the price tags look reasonable, we recommend approaching them cautiously since they could be placeholders. Let's see how the new x870 mainboards will pe priced and also the x3d chips later.

Got on Prime days from Amazon a Lenovo Yoga Pro Gen 8. I wanted a thin small laptop with 32 GB unter 1000 Euros and this was the only choice. In the end I payed 700😃.Pretty slick with nice aluminum body, a very good keyboard for it's size, maybe best in class and that 780m Igpu is pretty good, can run every office task and also do some casual gaming. I can run Diablo 4 on it. Spec wise amd ryzen 7840hs, 32 gb ddr5, IPS 400 nits and 1tb SSD.

Intel Says 14th & 13th Gen Laptops CPUs Not Affected By Same Instability Issues As Desktop Chips, Cites Common Software/Hardware Bugs So the Laptop chips are starting to degrade aswell?? This looks very bad. Lets see if Intel will do recalls

I have that tool on my Asus g15 turd. It's a must have for notebooks with ryzen, keep the thermal throttling in check with it.

Interesting, let's see how it will develop

Pff, this is sad. How the mighty has fallen... I wonder if we will find out why EVGA went so hard down. I heard that the owner didnt want to sell out but right now looks like just a derelict ship waiting to sink. No swan song for them. @electrosoft yeah ill get the 9000 but waiting for some more infos on the x3d chips, there are some rumors that both ccds will be the same with cache lvls. That will be awesome if true.

I will be switching for sure for a x870 board and new memory which i think well be EXPO 6400 at least. I am now on the b650 and a new gen x870e will be a good upgrade. Until now i like the Gigabyte x870e Aourus Pro ICE, clean white MB which will pass nice for my white build. But lets see what MSI brings out.

Thanks brother you too aswell, on Thursday ill have the biggest hurdle as a father until now. The oldest son, hes 4 and he will have Tonsils and Nasal Polyps removed. Hes allergic and sadly cannot breath at night well, hes snoring and gasping for air, we tried cortisol spray for a month and didnt help so surgery is the last resort. I know is a standard surgery but boy do I have some strong feelings...Even on my own surgeries over the years or any family member i wasnt so restless like now. I guess this are father/parents worries and it will not be the last one. I just want the day to be over 😐

They sure look good and very nice hardware, to bad they are EATX and i cannot mount them and keep the GPU Vertical in the EVO O11 DX. Thats the reason that i didnt get the X670 Carrera White Edition back when i was looking for HW.

LOL, bye bye gaming gpus 😄 Intel also on the AI Craze

My hands are iching for a 9950x 😄

Haha me too😄
