  1. Hi @JadeRover Thank you for your reply and the very comprehensive post about the screen cables. Indeed they probably messed up. Also, I noticed that my cable was different than @GREYSTAR ( DC02C002F00 instead of DC02C002D00) even though it had the correct P/N... Anyway I ordered a new cable and will report back. @Aaron44126yeah I also got it as "3D" supposedly, but they probably messed up.. Many thanks!
  2. Hi again So this is the connector from the cable that I need to go to the 40-pin eDP panel. It looks like the same one going to the motherboard. Any ideas how I can convert it for the standard 40-pin eDP panel? -the auction for the cable stated it as P/N 6VCJW, unless they sold me the wrong cable 🙂 @GREYSTAR@Aaron44126@TheQuentincc is your eDP cable similar? can you tell me where you got it from? Thank you Andreas
  3. Thank you. The cable you posted is the one I've originally got (P/N 6VCJW - from same seller!!) but the connector to the panel is like top-down style, where as on my panel is the slide-in style. Is this correct? Thank you Andreas
  4. Hey guys. So, I ended up getting a wx7100 and a new edp panel, but I need some help about the panel. I got the edp cable, but the connector to the panel is different. Searching online a bit, it seems I have to use an interposer (P/N 75V7G) and a second cable (P/N 64HMY) like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/203100779785?_skw=m6600+interposer&itmmeta=01JCRT9T9SYJEWB74ZRSNGJ0HV&hash=item2f49bff509:g:rxwAAOSwG9Jg1cT5&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKn8znPWuJelsCB1AonJIv0D1vocBGCP1PRhBGi5fBGMy77qleu2S3pexweeOyPOIkYTQ1nnhtwKC4%2BSMueM0Q%2BguQKkR8GUDOwwbk7OxzKDf7LIOTAM69y1uSnZB7jjA2LUnAJAjLJ0AMnnag2GxZVxPVZEI7utTLPhwyPvt6T0BTCM0zmAIvM8fF2YtewaZl78zYnStmvCuiSulkaIMmXldM%2BTZg1Fv5GrtWbjHqyIaahdkk11VpmUTb2%2BLavfSyY%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR_6kp5rmZA https://www.ebay.com/itm/256671558368?_skw=m6700+3d+cable&epid=1310066330&itmmeta=01JCRVNDVYRJ9RCANEDA3S2CWH&hash=item3bc2d12ae0:g:zesAAOSw3fZnB6yP&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKmRzMlboIaBdr0rSW0JA55vQqNjE34J8%2BCgSIzl44lUVpGTIxmEGxGv2Bucg0Ir2wduMXxIVE9OctULO2aZR%2Brjc0ZQYUwTYMmrrjt7%2F9CcJNowoLuKNUaPs2imSU%2FjIzXsfMN9t6kndEG25dg1DJdo5bVWpmJB%2B796fGyjEBQ%2Bf6OtGqw0lV5piQ5sywfNEwTL4yycD75KPyRKcv13dviBIcJmGK4lhLTf7VbxTLu2Itpp7CHRpsC7J3X%2B3EgQJ68%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR4be1ZvmZA In forums they say that the interposer is an edp-to-lvds converter (?) Is this correct or do I just have to use a converter on the edp cable? Am I missing something? Thank you Andreas
  5. Hm I'm a bit sceptical about the X-Vision site too. It does not provide an online payment and needs a bank transfer without bank details... Anyway I'll give it a try and report, but without high hopes. In the meantime, the RX 5500 XTs started appearing on ebay. Although sadly not the ray tracing RX 6600s at the moment. For everyone interested: https://www.ebay.com/itm/266552329677?var=566322070646
  6. Thank you! Yes, I'm expecting that the heatsink will need some modifications to make it work, I was more asking about compatibility on the electrical side. For now, I'm waiting some stuff to do a screen upgrade. I may try it after that later on, especially if someone else try these new AMD cards :D. Thanks a lot
  7. Hey guys. What are your thoughts about this one for the m6700? https://www.x-vsion.com/product/mxm-radeon-rx-6600-xt-8gb/ Personally, I prefer AMD cards for macOS compatibility but haven't seen anything better than a Radeon pro wx7100. I'm a bit worried about its power requirements though. Many thanks!
