Hi, I did have another monitor but I gave it away to my grandson, I didn't think I would have a problem with the new Dell monitor. Like I said I can use the monitor with my M4700 with no problem. Thanks for your reply, Carl

Have been trying to get my m4800 laptop to connect to my Dell monitor for months. I have a m4700 which works fine but when I purchased the Dell monitor it will not work with the m4800. Have talked to Dell and they thought it was the monitor and sent a replacement. Replacement did not work either. Any help would be appreciated.
