You are right, but is the only effective way to do it is just to add a heavy and noisy cooling pad?

The second frustrating thing was that I found out that any one of the Precision 7780's USB-C ports (even including those two thunderbolt 4) can only output up to 15W of power, which I originally thought at least have one port to drive my FPGA board.
BTW, my mouse is MX Master 3s.
I am using a similar adapter on my single board computer, except that it converts M-key to E-key. It reroutes USB to an onboard port, which connects to the 9-pin USB header on motherboard to provide Bluetooth functionality.
