  1. Off the office/home yesterday and very good experience except again browsers - have no color site ID/symbol on tabs on Opera so will have to search if there is an option or have to change browser. Felt no need to use the cover/keyboard. Getting better acclimatised with "android explorers" , good that i can jump directories like in Windows in the address bar and that menus can remind of last folders used. I think the weight 590g it is near limit to a confortable experience with one hand, maybe 630-640g would be my limit, so it was okay showing business stuff to other people in a kitchen without an usable table. The large screen is very convenient. Still have to setup my HP all in one printer to scan to the tablet and to print from it. Not doing much of that last months but want it set.
  2. Meanwhile Lenovo releases a big 12.7 Tablet clearly for productivity. I think it is too heavy for one hand use.
  3. Things went faster than i was expecting, i never needed or felt the need to get back to the laptop PC for anything except getting information to the tablet so will start preparing it for formatting and then to be given to my family. The first thing and something that i already felt with M10 Tab is that i like the direct interaction with screen, so i feel confy with tablets and for me a mouse is entropy. For my Clevo and now my Legion i already have had cheap pen tablets to replace the mouse. If i had to write more than an A4 page i would need a proper keyboard, either the official cover+kb one or an external one. The cheap 30 euro cover+kb would not cut it.
  4. A good thing about tablet 12.4" screen is that it works ok 2 apps side by side and it is very easy to set.
  5. Today worked in sunny balcony, my house is old so darker than a modern home, one of the reasons for this buy - mailing, browsing, OneNote, web invoice program. It went well except i discovered Xiaomi super complete calc app don't allow any pasting!? got the Google calc... If you are looking more or less straight to the screen you don't have any reflections, the screen gets fingerprints but brightness goes trough them so not noticeable unless in a sleeping dark screen.
  6. Maybe some setting in forum? i have all forum with white background. ----------------------------------------- It is just mirror, the tablet display continues to be usable, turn the tablet screen brightness to zero to not waste battery. You can get a bluetooth KB and a bluetooth mouse or put everything including the monitor via an usb-c connected dock. Thinking of something like this, then with it you don't need bluetooth mouse+KB: https://www.amazon.es/-/pt/dp/B0BR3M8XHK Windows is more advanced.
  7. Mirroring the screen to my ProArt 24" monitor was automatic. Inserted the usb-c to HDMI cable and asked right away if i wanted that. I have 2 minimal black bands at each side. Monitor is 1920x1200 so 16:10 while the tablet is 3048 x 2032 so 3:2 (or 15:10)
  8. Meanwhile the keyboard in the cover i bought is crap concerning the keys, need to type stronger than usual. Testing all file managements apps available, saving files the way i want is being a challenge at moment. For example Outlook app, don't have option for you to choose the directory when saving an attachment file, it goes to the download folder only. You can do it in web version.
  9. Things going well, benefit of fast usb, 65Gb of PC backup files were moved to the tablet in 5m30sec. even better i discovered an app - Cx File Manager that preserved the creation date of every file and folder. The backup files are in an enclosure with a Crucial SSD in exFAT file system since i also make my phone backup to it , besides the PC Laptop backups.
  10. Asus Vivobook 15.6" com Oled (glare), mas não tenho a certeza se tem USB-C power in.
  11. Arrived. Hyperfast finger print reader, it seems automatic. Gorgeous screen, due to overcast weather which is no challenge could't be properly tested outside neither if reflections are high, they don't appear to be. Fast. Great sound for a tablet and better than many laptops. Havier than my 10.6" M10 by 100g. Don't think will be an issue with mostly finger muscle build up needed. Android apps issues not related to the tablet: Firefox is a disaster no proper tabs so it can't be used, Vivaldi can't import bookmarks, Opera can not move a tab from position, Brave don't have a proper speed-dial... Used Opera, Vivaldi, Brave for several work related stuff, no issues, PC level experience. No issues with OneNote except those related to Android version limitations, so not this tablet related. Still doubts where to place the PC folder structure in Android, access is easy but don't think i should put it in downloads folder. Ordered a USB-C to HDMI cable to use with an external monitor when i am in the office and a 34 euro bluetooth keyboard/ cover https://www.amazon.es/-/pt/dp/B0DBQGGB5S
  12. Today is supposed to arrive the Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro. Lets see how the ride goes.
