  1. Well as I said before it was done with 50W which translates to around 3.1,3.2 frequency.
  2. Hello These are the screenshots: (for future if someone needed) I just have to point out that during my Solidworks Visualize test I saw that my undervolt is too much so all the tests after the ram change has been done with +5mv higher offset. all the test have been done with 50W in order to remove any possibility of thermal limitation. (except solidworks that has been limited to 60) everything except ram is the same. Before: (2*8GB 3200 1Rx16) Handbrake X265 10bit Slow Handbrake X265 10bit Medium the second output is the one that i tested after the change After: (With 2*16GB 2666 1Rx8) Handbrake X265 10bit Slow Handbrake X265 10bit Medium
  3. Ok so I've changed them for testing and I can only say UNBELIEVABLE!! It's way faster in the works mentioned above I mean I compiled a code for the test with those x16 3200 ones it took me : 3 minutes 46 seconds and with x8 2666 it took: 3 minutes 10 seconds That 36 seconds in a code that takes 3-4 days translates to more than 14Hrs!!! This is just ridiculous. I will organize and post the screenshots tomorrow
  4. Hello Everyone. I just bought a laptop that has 2* hynix 8gb 3200 1Rx16 cl22 modules in it and I have 2* crucial 16gb 2666 cl19 x8 modules from my old one. I don't game on this laptop at all (maybe once in a month or two) I usually use it for Ansys Solidworks doing Deep learning works (Writing code, running it in VMs) And Some videos encoding Cpu is 11800h. Just CPU performance wise, Will I see any difference if I use 2666 one? The secondary timings on 2666 are way lower but the stock 3200 ram in aida64 has 45k write and read speed wich its write speed is the same as the x8 ram that linus Tested! And those 2666 ones get a score of under 40k read and write in aida64 with 9750h The main problem for not testing is that by opening it my warranty will void so I wanted to know it's worth it or not and maybe someone has experience with this situation. I've attached the two kits info. Thank you
