It's my recollection that the ultimate source of your fan control is some magic code from the Linux kernal dedicated to interacting with the fan controls in Dell BIOS. Is it the case that we need to wait for someone from the linux project to figure out how to access these controls with the newest Dell BIOSes? Or do we know that these controls have been totally removed?
