  1. I forgot to mention, on Cinebench r23 with performance mode I have instant thermal throttling with 100.4C temperature, now is barely 90C, which is remarkable for the R7 5800H.
  2. Here are my results. I played Cyberpunk for about 15 min. right after the stress test, and played NFS Unbound for about 30 min. Temperatures are very stable, never saw this stability on notebook before. Cyberpunk is on ultra graphics with Ray tracing on ultra and DLLS on balanced, and NFS Unbound is also on ultra graphics... I think NFS games are not very well optimized for PC so I have higher temps.. Before repasting I easily hit 95-102 when gaming.. Apparently the factory thermal paste was bad.. I hope this one will last longer...
  3. I waited for about 20 minutes... I ordered mine from AliExpress, and there I saw instructions to wait just 15-20 minutes to cure... Small update, last night i played nfs unbound, maxed graphics, notebook elevated a little bit, temps were 81 on cpu and 73 on gpu for about a one and half hour of gameplay... Today I will do stress test again, both cinebench r23 and aida64 and will share the results...
  4. Hallo guys, I hope you are doing well... Just got mine 7950sp paste yesterday.. I also made a mistake and ordered paste, not the pad. I wasn't sure how to apply it and did spread it across the cpu and the gpu die and waited for about 20 minutes for curing proces (i hope i didn't must wait for 15h to cure) and then installed heatsink. I am experienced with repasting and this is my first time to spread it, i always used dot method..but anyway, i have legion 5 r7 5800h with rtx3070 (gpu temps were never a problem), and before repasting cpu temp spikes to 102°C in need for speed heat (cpu hungry game, I don't know why 😅). Yesterday, short after repasting i tried nfs heat, and i saw a little improvement, in the loading screen i had 98°C and than it settles it's down to mid 90s.. today, it is something new happening, at the very beginning of game it goes up to 94, and than settles down to 86 (spikes to 88) and stayed there for about 1 hour, i thought afterburner is stuck but it isn't.. gpu stays at 79 all the time, spikes to 80... So, i think when phase changing happened temps go down, and stayed there without throttling... Only thing that bothers me is cinebench r23, in performance mode cpu goes up to 100.4°C and stays there, but power is good, never hit 80W before for 10 minutes constantly, and score is also good, just little above 13k. Maybe I can apply the paste a little better (it was pretty bad applying because it is very hard to spread it equally but i think those are big improvements. KING19 You are not the only one with ptm7950sp😉
