That $3600 USD price tag for the 4080 version though...I have an Alienware M16 4080 ready for pick up today for $1000 cheaper. Would love to get the Blade because it looks damn good this year. Maybe by end of year the price will come back down to earth. Long time no talk, bud. Are you upgrading to the new Blade? saturnotaku
I want to see reviews of it, but the 4K/144+1080/240 mini LED screen has piqued my interest. That model of Blade 16 is insanely expensive, but I am getting a tax refund this year that's about four times larger than I was expecting so I'm tempted to pull the trigger. I would then sell off my Legion and desktop PCs. 1 Desktop: Ryzen 5 5600X3D | 32 GB RAM | GeForce RTX 4070 Super | 4 TB SSD | Windows 11 Gigabyte Aorus 16X: Core i7-14650HX | 32 GB RAM | GeForce RTX 4070 | 2 TB SSD | Windows 11 Lenovo IdeaPad 3 Gaming: Ryzen 7 6800H | 16 GB RAM | GeForce RTX 3050 | 512 GB SSD | Windows 11 Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro: Ryzen 5 5600U | 16 GB RAM | Radeon Graphics | 512 GB SSD | Windows
DarginMahkum
What is interesting, looks like overclocking is now available through Synapse: https://mysupport.razer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9699 ...and a redditer reported that it is possible to undervolt the 18 (I am assuming same thing goes also for 16): I will still wait for the 7945HX laptops before buying anything. saturnotaku
What has me most excited is that apparently you can now set a maximum battery charge limit on these laptops. If this is true, it should all but eliminate the battery bloating issues. DarginMahkum
I prepared a list of questions I had on Razer reddit. Let's see if anyone will respond...

kojack
I was all set to splurge for a new asus proart studiobook, but the razer is 1. Thinner, 2. lighter, 3. Mini LED, 4. NOT ASUS! I think I am going with the Razer 16 as a new workstation while mobile. epguy3
if only Razer would post a full set of driver downloads on their support site for the Blade 16 2023 laptop that would be great. only downloads I see for Razer Blade 16 2023 on the Razer site are just the firmware & bios updates but no driver downloads. lame 😞
