Hi guys,

I bought a second hand P775DM3G to replace my old P370SM2 which died last year. A few members Helped me breath a new life into the p370 over at NBR a long while back. Notable mentions to name a few were @Meakerfor the part numbers regarding the screen and cable I had to buy to get the 1070 to work and @Premafor the bios to get the 4930mx working properly. Thanks guys! I still really apreciate your help.

Anyways, im thinking about upgrading my desktop in the very near future.. it has a 9900kf... instead of this mobo and cpu sitting on a shelf gathering dust with the rest of my old gear is there any way I can get the cpu running in my laptop ?

Here you can download the all Clevo unlocked Dsanke bios for all Clevo 6-7-8-9.th generation laptops . P7xxDMx_RTX.rom for only 8-9 gen cpu and RTX support and P7xxDMx.rom for 6-7 and 8-9 gen support as well but only gtx *support(it will work with RTX but you have to INF mod the driver ,tryed with a P750DM2-G and a 2080/3080) , but You have to isolate 2 pins on the 8-9 gen CPU otherwise the pins in the socket will melt and no more 6-7 gen support.

Clevo P751TM1-G 8700K/16GB/GTX 1080@120W/1.5TB/FHD 144 G-Sync/ Asus PG279Q

6-7 will still work fine even with the burned pins, tried and tested already.

Noo way I never knowed because of this pin isolating..actually I have two weird looking pins on my 775dmg3 socket...I always asked myself how that happened but never thought its because of burning 🔥...of course it's working still greatly with 6 or 8 gen cpus but when I am tried to upgrade my cpu from 6gen to i5 8gen > i7 8gen...it won't booted on first try..only after several boots I got display then working without any problems 😉
