I recently acquired a very nice m14x R1 and was wondering if the Alienware experts in here know if I can swap out the mobo to a r2 with the 3 series Intel cpu and gt650 from NVIDIA? Or did they do anything chassis wise between these versions? Thanks!

While they are also identical, it's compatible one way not just quite 100% the other way. Can't remember which way it was though.
