While Windows version obviously allows. Instead Wi-fi scanning in a Tp Link Powerline network range extender via auto document feeder worked well. I have been an HP printer user for years. I have recently switched to Epson and Canon. HP has fallen behind and their software borders on spy/nagware now. kojack
Yeah, they are not like the old HP printers like my 5660 (I think). It was the best printer. I had the accessory photo cartridge and it worked awesome. I swapped out my ipad for the dell 5169 I had lying around. Loaded linux and waydroid. Now I have the best of both worlds for my tablet duties. A real OS when needed, and adroid apps to top off the experience. kojack
Yes, it's an 11 inch 2 in 1 system. it's got an M3 chip with 515 graphics, 960gb ssd and 4gb of ram. Runs great on Zorin, runs ok on 11. 1 Workstation - Dell XPS 8940 - desktop creative powerhouse Mobile Workstation - Dell inspiron 5406 2 in 1 - mobile creative beast Wifey's Notebook - Dell inspiron 3169 - Little gem for our businesses

That being said, you can plug the fold into a hub and use keyboard, mouse and big display at the office, home, etc. I am hoping I get one for Samsung ambassador use. Bullit
That is what she did, check the video might give you some ideas. The issue was the more complex video editing app, it did not worked well with her mouse and DeX.
kojack
I am downloading iPadOS 26 right now. I am going to see how it works. I am going to take it on our trip camping as my only editing device. I am going to be putting my photos and videos shot on my Pixel, canon and fuji cameras through it and edit in the evenings and post via our blog site and YouTube. Might work great with the improvements apple made. I do wish they would let ad blockers work correctly though. 1 Workstation - Dell XPS 8940 - desktop creative powerhouse Mobile Workstation - Dell inspiron 5406 2 in 1 - mobile creative beast Wifey's Notebook - Dell inspiron 3169 - Little gem for our businesses

kojack
Basic initial use of the iPad is MUCH MUCH improved. I am typing on it right now and it’s actually really good. There are a few visual anomalies, but for the most part it’s good. I will be trying it later for photo and video editing. Who knows. Might switch to MacBook and Mini for my systems. If I keep enjoying it like I am so far. kojack
After using the iPadOS 26 for a day now I can say that an iPad Pro could probably use one as my main computer. It is so much improved. Ad blocking on YouTube works now in edge, I just have to refresh and the ad goes away. I am fine with that. 1 Workstation - Dell XPS 8940 - desktop creative powerhouse Mobile Workstation - Dell inspiron 5406 2 in 1 - mobile creative beast Wifey's Notebook - Dell inspiron 3169 - Little gem for our businesses
kojack
Back on my Linux 11 inch dell 2 in 1. Well, the iPad experiment was short lived. I need to redo waydroid so it recognises wifi and Bluetooth, once I do that, the ipad is up for sale. This old system with 4gb of ram and intel m3 processor is just more enjoyable to use compared to the iPad. The typing experience and browser is soooo much better on linux and the dell. Mainly what I will be using it for. I won't be doing any photo/video work on this system. I may use it for writing articles for our travel blog and just take the images from our storage and put them up using this. Well i know the ipad is not for me. I almost bought a 13 inch iPad pro to replace my laptop. Phew, that was close ha ha. Real Edge instead of apple forked edge is a huge difference. Apple having the say of using webkit to develop the browsing apps is the issue. They are really all following the rules apple sets. WIth real edge I have all the ad blockers that work 100 percent of the time. It makes a huge difference. kojack
I just installed my CSV file into brave to try out. So far so good. I have the dell put on power saver mode for longer battery life to see how long I can get form it using linux and brave instead of Edge. I have heard good things about brave. We will see what I can get out of this for battery life now. 1 Workstation - Dell XPS 8940 - desktop creative powerhouse Mobile Workstation - Dell inspiron 5406 2 in 1 - mobile creative beast Wifey's Notebook - Dell inspiron 3169 - Little gem for our businesses

kojack
I think so, it's no point to download any other browser on iPad. They all have to follow webkit coding which blocks ad blockers from properly working. I have noticed the sleep/wake functions are much better on linux than Windows. kojack
Just did a full day off battery with the little dell, approx 5h 45min and have 30 percent battery life left. Not bad considering on windows 11 it would barley push 4hrs. Like I said to the wife, Linux is not reporting back to the mothership constantaly. It's so much faster, better and lightweight compared to when it was running windows. iPad replacement for sure! Bullit
Ok. Here is the GSM Arena review of the new OnePlus Pad 3. I considered at the time the OnePlus Pad 2 but went with Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro. This OnePlus is a tablet for productivity with size upped to 13.2" 675g and 7:5 format. The Xiaomi is 12.4" 590g 3:2 https://www.gsmarena.com/oneplus_pad_3-review-2854.php You can see in various benchmarks like battery recharging and screen brightness that the Xiaomi remains the best. One feature of this OnePlus is that it can control PC and Mac's, so you go out with tablet and still can finish working what you are doing in the Mac or PC but their test with Mac was not reliable. Maybe with an update.
