Determine
DELL Pro Max 18 Plus, It is the successor to the DELL Precision 7780 released in 2023, and the screen size has been upgraded to an 18 inch 16:10 ratio;

DELL Pro Max 16 Plus, It is a 16 inch flagship and the successor to the original DELL Precision 7680.

Both will be unveiled at CES on January 7, 2025 and will be launched in mid-2025.

DELL now uses a naming convention similar to that of Apple phones for all new generation laptops - using Pro, Plus, Max, and two digits representing screen size for product naming.

Guessing 1: Product Naming
Based on the above information, the author believes that without considering the outdated naming convention of Dell XPS 13 9350, the product naming convention for Dell's new generation laptops should follow the following rules:

Rule 1
Pro Max - Mobile Workstation;
Pro Rugged - rugged laptop;
Pro - Professional commercial laptop.
There may be other vocabulary.

Rule 2
13. 14, 16, 18-- represents screen size.

Rule 3
Premium - High quality attributes, such as ultra-thin and higher premium;
Plus - Performance enhancement attribute, such as flagship models;
There may be other vocabulary.

Guess 2: Product Code
As can be seen above, behind the Dell Pro Rugged 13, there is a set of seven characters - RA13250, which should be the long-term product code - arranged similarly to Apple products.
Based on the above information analysis, the author believes that the naming convention for DELL's new seven digit long-term product code with letters and numbers should follow the following rules:

first place:
M - Pro Max, M comes from Max and is also the first letter of mobile workstation in English.
R----Pro Rugged;
P----Pro;
There may be other codes as well.

Second place:
A----Premium;
B - Plus (except for Rugged models, probably due to the name being too long).
There may be other codes as well.

Third and fourth positions:
12. 13, 14, 16, 18-- Screen size.

Fifth and sixth positions:
25- indicates the year 2025, followed by 2026 using "26", and so on.

Seventh place:
0- Default to Intel platform model;
1- Special models;
5- AMD platform models.

Summary
So, the following corresponding relationship will be obtained:
DELL Pro Max 18 Plus----MB18250;
DELL Pro Max 16 Plus----MB16250;
Dell Pro 16 Plus----PB16250;
Dell Pro 14 Premium----PA14250;
Dell Pro Rugged 14-RB14250 (its name does not include Plus);
Dell Pro Rugged 13-RA13250 (it is not named Premium).

Is that really the case?
We'll wait and see.
