cisik88 Posted January 30, 2025 Posted January 30, 2025 After reading many topics in different places i have 1 question in my mind. Is there any real difference between these 2 modded bioses? Is there something better or worse in any of it? Is there some best, golden bios version for P870 or it depends on kind of mods we wanna do?
Maro97 Posted February 2, 2025 Posted February 2, 2025 the prema bios is more easy to use than dsnake bios and with prema bios all of nvidia gpu can seen in bios without driver mod gtx 10xx - rtx 20xx - rtx 30xx all of them can seen inside bios without any issues - with prema bios all of cpus can use without any problems from 6th gen to 9th gen - prema bios has an organized and simple settings menus more than dsnake bios that's all i know about prema and dsnake bios and we can't forget prema bios has one version to flash p870 laptops it's a very nice way but dsnake has many versions for example if you use 6th gen of cpu you need one dsnake bios versions and if you use 7th gen cpu or higher need another dsnake bios ver but prema bios is not. thats all i know 🙂
zex4 Posted February 2, 2025 Posted February 2, 2025 Very interesting...not the right thread but is there any prema bios for the 775dmg3/tm1 In existence?🤔
Maro97 Posted February 2, 2025 Posted February 2, 2025 i don't know about clevo p7xx cuz i didn't use them greetings
cisik88 Posted February 2, 2025 Author Posted February 2, 2025 So one can say that Prema is more user friendly and sophisticated version. It was used by 3rd party companies in their systems so it needed to be good. But i think that development stopped at some point right? I think my bios from Prema is from 2016 so i don't think it would allow usage of 8th or 9th gen cpu or rtx gpu. So we are left with dsanke bioses. I saw some versions on github, newest was 716 if im not mistaken. Does anyone know if its the latest version?
Maro97 Posted February 3, 2025 Posted February 3, 2025 Yes the latest dsanke bios for p870 laptop is 1.07.16 it’s support 9900ks & 128gb ram and there is many of 1.07.16 versions one support 9900ks and another one support 9900ks & 128gb ram and both of them support gtx 10xx and rtx 20xx but if you will use rtx 30xx then you will need a dsanke 1.07.16 modded version if you don’t want to do an inf method to install the rtx 30xx nvidia driver
cisik88 Posted February 3, 2025 Author Posted February 3, 2025 Is there any place that has all of these versions with description? Or we just need to look for them online?
cisik88 Posted February 3, 2025 Author Posted February 3, 2025 Found it: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZRLYpWUCwY9bsUpyEIVMrKQz7ID2JzEi However i see there are mods of original bios and mods of z370 ported to z170 and z270.
Little Mariachi Posted June 6, 2025 Posted June 6, 2025 @mtvgt - Thanks for posting that link. I've been looking for an updated BIOS for my P870DM-G. So the BIOS file that's appropriate for my laptop is P870DM.zip? My current BIOS is still original I believe, labeled 1.05.02MYT & KBC/EC Firmware Revision 1.05.03. It was sold as a Mythologic Phobos 8715S. I probably would want to back up the original BIOS before I try updating with the new BIOS. Can you recommend any program that would be able to save a backup as well as update the new BIOS? And to the rest of the Clevo P870DM community, hello! This is my first post 🙂
