Hey all

Im trying to figure out the best way to set this thing up. No matter what i set it at it seems the clocks just want to bounce around. Im on the custom so i can run the custom fan curve. In the bios there is overclocking but its greyed out for some reason. Is this cpu just going to bounce around cpu clocks ? Is there a way to undervolt even furth then AWCC ? How do i get overclocking in the bios working ?

I just picked up another M18R2 this one ha the 4080 in it. What im noticing is bios 1.10 allows you to turn overclocking on and off but doesnt allow you to do anything in AWCC. Im curious if bios 1.11 is on by default ?

Update so i updated the bios so both laptops are running on 1.11 but

4080 laptop allows for the Overclocking to be enabled and adjusted while the other 4070 does not. Im curious if its power brick related

Update so AWCC has no overclocking function and its in AWCC so im not sure how to control the fans

Update The M18R2 4080 turns out the higher End ones come with Liquid metal which i didnt know. I couldnt udnerstand why the temps were so low. I dont even need to run throttle stop with this thing. I was hitting 31k in R23 no throttling The 4070 one i do because it gives best performance with the ability to undervolt

After copying the Throttle stop set up This seemed to improve temps because this thing keeped wanting to jump to 95c to 100c but not all the time more like spikes while running at ok temps

If im being completely honest i dont think Dell allows you to modify any voltages. I think a custom bios is needed because i dont think with this machine you can actually undervolt
