Best LG Laptops In 2025, Guide to Choose

I researched about the best LG laptop for the past few days because i need a lightweight but powerful machine for both work and everyday use. I read reviews on CNET Laptop Mag and TechRadar and they are marking these two as best:

However, I am having trouble deciding which one would best suit my needs and need your expert advice.

In my daily routine, I typically:

• Work on documents, spreadsheets, and video calls
   

• Do light photo editing and multitasking
   

• Prefer something that is super portable with long battery life
   

• Occasionally stream shows and browse with multiple tabs open
   

So which one should I buy? If you’ve used either or have another LG laptop recommendation, I’d really appreciate your thoughts.

I would be cautious of using "lightweight" and "powerful" in the same sentence. The performance of most, if not all, of the LG notebooks is limited by their ability to dissipate heat so they underperform compared to other notebooks with similar CPUs / GPUs. Some of the LG notebooks have two cooling fans, which helps a little, whereas others have only one. Sometimes this can be figured out from LG's specs and photos while the notebookcheck reviews include internal photos. I own two LG notebooks but my primary requirements were light weight with large, good quality displays and adequate performance. You will find some discussion of the LG notebooks in this section of the forum.

The difference in performance will be quite noticeable from 16GB RAM of the PRO 2 to 32GB RAM of the PRO 16 OLED. You can find it at a better price than posted previously at redacted.
