Upgrading M18X R2. Trying to Choose a GPU & Heatsink

Hey everyone, Ive got a couple kinda rough m18x r1s, I love the machines and am trying to hold out for a nice shape R2.

 

Im interested in trying to pick up a new gpu and heatsink or at least get an idea of which units I’ll end up buying.

 

Here are the units im interested in: 

Cards:

Quadro RTX5000

Quadro RTX3000

X-Vsion RTX 3080 MXM

 

Heatsinks:

5 Heatpipe for RTX 4080

3 Heatpipe for RTX 3080

 

My main goal of the system is to pair it with a 3920/40xm, add a 32GB kit of RAM I have, and use Windows 7 if at all possible. This will be my “Desktop on the Go” Machine.

 

And if I end up with the Xvsion 3080 card, or RTX3000 would anything be stopping me from putting the 5pipe 4080 Heatsink on it?
