G7-7790 Issue after Installing Win 11

Interesting issue.... Had to install Win 11 as Turbo Tax says they will no longer support Win 10.

So when in sleep mode the keyboard back lighting flickers and laptop heats up and fans start. So I disabled the keyboard back lighting and now the computer start button light flickers when display times out and laptop heats up again.

What is causing that?

Never had this issue under Win 10.

W11 sleep probably consumes too much power to keep cool but not enough power to trigger the fans to run fast enough to keep temps down.

You could try to go to a lower sleep state again as you had S3 on W10 and now you are at S0 with W11.

That is if Dell has not updated your bios and robbed you of that option, in that case you have to hibernate if you want to keep temperatures down.
