Scourge Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago HI! I'm trying to figure out what settings to change to undervolt the i7-6700K using the Premamod Bios. I was able to set a -125 offset for both the CPU and Uncore in the BIOS, based on some basic googling suggestions, and confirmed the offset with HWinfo on reboot, but I think I missed some settings to top off the CPU performance, because when I run Cinebench, the cores all top out at around 2,500 MHz instead of 4,000 MHz. I'm guessing I have to counter the offset with a boost in some other setting? Here's my current settings in the in the Overclocking Performance Menu: The only two settings I changed myself so far were the CPU Core Voltage offsett and the Uncore Voltage offset, both set to -125. Everything else was left as-is in the BIOS. Overclocking Feature: Enabled IMON Scaling: Disabled Vboost Enable: Disabled RSR: Enabled >Processor Core Max OC Ratio: 0 Core Voltage Mode: Adaptive Core Voltage Override: 0 Core Extra Turbo Voltage: Core Voltage Offset: 125 (Negative) Core PLL Voltage Offset: 0 >Ring Ring Max OC Ratio: 0 Ring Min OC Ratio: 0 Rin Voltage Mode: Adaptive Ring Extra Turbo Voltage: 0 Ring Voltage Offset: 0 (+/-) >Uncore Uncore Voltage Offset: 125 (negative) Hyperthreading, Active Cores, Virtualization, AES, Boost Mode Turbo, SpeedStep, C-states all enabled Using four 8GB DDR4 RAMM DIMMs, all running at 2400 MHz I basically just want to be able to boost to 4.00Ghz with an undervolt to lower my temps. I was able to do it in XTU on an older locked P870DM-G I once had, but I don't recall the settings I had for that. It was like 6 years ago 😞 Anyone familiar with this that can help me here? Thanks!
