The center of the CPU IHS is stained a deep black due to the factory thermal paste that the previous owner never replaced. It is just barely readable, but the staining can be cleaned with some Flitz polish. I haven't bothered to clean it because this staining is only cosmetic. Below are pictures of the physical CPU and a screenshot taken before I swapped it out with my 8700k. You may need to zoom in on image 3 to read the etching on the IHS due to the 6700k being hard to see.
