aldarxt
I am looking to buy a Quadro m5000m for m17x r4 120hz 3D screen. It seems to be the last Nvidia 3D vision card made. The m17x r4 120hz 3D can only run in PEG. So all other newer cards will not work as 3D was abandoned by Nvidia in 2019. I never played any games in 3D so this laptop is capable and want to give it a shot when I get around to getting the Glasses. I found M5000m on Aliexpress for $188 and found 1 in the States for $350. Am leaning towards the 1 in the States. If anyone here has another option, maybe have one not being used due to it being close to GTX 980m/970m performance I would be interested Thanks! Only 660m & 680m will give you 3D in this laptop. Only official cards that shipped with the laptop will allow internal 3d support. Any GPU not originally shipped with laptop will not allow you to use 3d. I keep my 560m for M17xR3 if I decide to go back to 3D but with my 880m there is no 3d support.
