  1. My personal opinion, 4k laptop displays are not worth it, the screen isn't big enough to take full advantage of the resolution and it absolutely tanks your framerates compared to 1440p and 1080p. Again, personal opinion here, even running an external screen I don't do 4k, PC hardware just is not up the task of pushing 4k at competitive framerates. Only thing 4k in my house are the TV's.
  2. Nothing exciting, needed a new work jacket, picked up a Wolverine Fortifier, nice jacket.
  3. I use my 2020 Razer Blade 15 everyday, only thing I have upgraded is to add a 1tb NVME in addition to the factory 500gb NVME. I have thought about upgrading to 32gb of ram, has 16gb stock, sometimes I will hit 13-14gb of ram usage, little too close for comfort. The other laptop I use is a company owned work laptop, so can't do anything with that even though it desperately needs more ram.
  4. Pixel 2, think I've had it for like 4+ years now, thing is still trucking along no problem. Maybe wait to see when Google comes out with the 6a, see how that does and maybe upgrade.
  5. I have 2 Quest 2's, mostly the kids play on them, I personally find VR headsets to be in their infancy so the games aren't yet equal to just playing a normal PC game on a normal screen. That being said, I think the best game on Oculus with a doubt is Zenith, it's still in beta, but you get access when you buy it. It's basically an MMO developed specifically for use with VR headsets. I am a RPG/MMO junkie, so I may be biased, but I haven't found another VR game that compares.

Cars, guns, computers, video games, and anime. Kind of an odd mix and the first 3 cost entirely too much money.
  7. Really good point about Game Pass, that did not even cross my mind. Curious to see how that unfolds.
  8. I've though about going back to WoW, haven't played in a couple years, but my desire to play again is just not quite high enough to overcome the monthly subscription barrier. I think they would get a load of players back if they dropped the subscription and went free to play like New World or Guild Wars.
  9. It's an Amazon game, was super hyped pre-launch, concurrent players online during launch week broke Steam records. For some reason it lost players quickly, not really sure why, compared to every MMO I've played at launch it had a fairly stable launch. PvP is a big part of the game because it is how control of land is determined. However, there is a large PvE element as well, plenty of solo content and also a good bit of dungeons for group content. The player base took a big dump, but there is still plenty of people to group up with when you want (at least on the server I play on).
  10. I drive an old 2006 Silverado 2500HD Duramax, lifted on 35's. She's got over 200k miles, but is still trucking along without issue. I've thought about selling it, but the new diesel truck prices are outrageous and it's nice not having a payment on it. My wife drives an Explorer ST, they are a pretty fun family vehicle, all wheel drive and 400hp.
  11. Been playing a lot of New World lately. The player base numbers really took a dump after the first couple weeks, but I still find it fun, good combat mechanics and PvP imo.
