Probably not very helpful for you, but I run the SupportAssist diagnostics weekly with non-factory installed SSDs and to date, have not experienced this. When purchased, I only had one drive, the smallest available, but I immediately replaced it and filled all slots myself with Samsung 980 PROs. -

Probably doesn't help but as a reference, I installed the new BIOS over the weekend and have not experienced any issues. I'm running Windows 11 via the Beta Insider Preview, build 22631.1900 with the latest NVIDIA driver, 31.0.15.3598. -

I've tried these with no success. For a long time, I ran with graphic switching disabled using the NVIDIA GPU only then something last year with Windows 11 changed which required me to enable graphics switching to fix it. I was never able to explicitly determine the root cause but many reboots and multiple reinstalls of different Windows versions later while troubleshooting I did narrow it down Windows rather than BIOS or NVIDIA drivers. IT's been a long time since I've revisited this so maybe I'll try disabling it again at some point to retest. While it's plugged in virtually 100% of the time so I'm not worried about battery drainage, I'd prefer not to generate the extra heat if it can be avoided. Anyway, I'll continue to monitor and when new ideas emerge will give them a try. You guys are far braver than me when it comes to changing settings and tweaking. Years ago, I used to pursue that level of tweaking too but now I stick to "preview" levels of early adopter risk where I find it easier to rollback when something goes wrong. My days of BIOS and hardware level variation are all but over. -

Everyone's system is different I guess but for me, I still haven't had any issues with v1.20 nor any prior releases. I'm current with latest Windows 11 build from the Insiders "Preview" Channel, run Dell's Command Update daily checking for new stuff relevant to my system, latest Nvidia and Intel driver via their respective system update tools...well for Nvidia, I check daily for updates via their "advanced" search. Do I occasionally run into issues being an early adopter for everything, sure, but that happens so infrequently that I don't consider it a problem. As a workload, I have two SQL Server Developer Edition instances (SQL 2019 & SQL 2022) and two LocalDB instances (SQL 2016 & SQL 2019 from Visual Studio's SSDT) as well as three instances of Visual Studio (2019 & 2022 v17.5 and v17.6 Preview) with a subset of their database and web development toolsets loaded. I also run Microsoft 365 via the Current Preview channel and Edge via the Development channel. Outside of explicit troubleshooting, I do not do any manual tinkering with settings or registry hacks, nor do I have any games loaded. Frankly it's a pretty boring configuration compared to what I hear from most active folks here but for me it's everything I need, and I rarely seem to encounter the issues I also see folks asking about. BTW, I also reboot daily as part of my standard operating procedure to eliminate any accruing noise from leaving everything running 7/24 and I also reboot after applying ALL updates. Call l me old school, but historically I've been burned so many times over the decades from incomplete updates that I no longer take the chance even when the vendor/software doesn't prompt for a reboot. Where I do have a recurring problem which no combination of driver updates or Windows versions (10 or 11) has been able to solve is that my laptop video (main screen as well as external monitors) will occasionally not wake after an idle period. This requires a hard power down via holding the power button until I feel the fans stop. It will also occasionally drop one of my external monitors which then requires a reboot to restore. These happen maybe one a week and have persisted since I first received my 7760 back in July of '21 (one of the first shipments). I monitor this forum closely and have tried many of the ideas offered have not seen any improvement. That said, it doesn't happen frequently enough to warrant calling Dell as I can't risk taking myself offline for an extended period of time to troubleshoot such a transient problem. -

Heads-up that Dell has re-released BIOS v1.11.0 today. As far as I can tell, there's nothing new since they first released it several weeks ago before pulling it after a few days. -

While I know others have encountered problems, I've been staying current with all driver and BIOS releases (including the ones which were withdrawn) and so far, haven't had any issues...or at least none which I've been impacted by. I'm also happily running Windows 11 and dread those days when I'm forced to use my client's hardware running Windows 10. -

Nice! I'll have to try over the weekend. I got frustrated by the delay and ended up reverted to the native Logitech usb receiver.
