  1. Is there any way to increase the tgp other than changing the vbios? I have the rtx a4500 and I didn't find the same gpu vbios from the 7770.
  2. Factory thermal paste with hair in it. Might be from the technician when the motherboard was being replaced.
  3. I've done many clean installs of windows and linux with dell drivers but it does not solve the issue. Ill try physically disconnecting the gpu and see what happens.
  4. On battery power the laptop consumes 20-50 watts of power when idle or in the web browser and dies in 2-3 hours. The graphics card is switched off.
  5. I tried disabling the gpu. I am also concerned with the cpu package power. There is no clear reason why the system agent takes so much power. Can anyone else check how much power it uses?
  6. I get really bad battery life on both windows and on Linux. The gpu activity shows no usage but it usually consumes 50 watts average. I also see that CPU package power is 12 watts and 8 watts are being used up by the system agent. I get around 30 watts consumption on Linux with gpu off. The first day I got the laptop the average power draw was around 8 - 12 which seems normal. I tried all updates downgrades and clean installations. I don't know what else to do.
