  1. Do you have the vbios to be able to test?
  2. Did you manage to solve the problem? I bought a GTX1080 Aetina and it doesn't give me video on a P775DM I adapted it to an MSI GT70 by cutting the casing but it gives me a blue screen, maybe it's a driver issue, although it is detected correctly in GPUZ
  3. I made a modification to move the bios to the bottom so that it is more accessible and not have to disassemble the laptop to flash a new bios, I used a ch341a programmer pcb and the cable is from the dual connector IDE hard drives that are more thinner than those with a single connector. I leave this in case it helps someone else.
  4. And the 3080 that works with your correct information
  5. Solved. Checking the tantalum inductors/capacitors it gave a resistance of 0.1 ohms, a short, so as a precaution I returned it. A few days ago I received a new and cheaper 3080, when testing the resistance of the inductors to negative it is 1.8 ohms, it gave an image without a problem. Image 1 is a 1070 square format msi in the slave mxm correctly detected alongside the 1080. In image 2 the defective 3080 in the slave mxm next to the 1080 with most of the data duplicated from the 1080 and although with the drivers Correctly installed, the graphics did not work.
  6. The laptop turns on. I have an mxm to pci x1 adapter with which I have been able to run a gtx1070 and a gp106 505 kc a1, I have tested the gtx1080 but it does not detect it, would you be able to tell me if it is because it needs direct power from the 8 pin connector?
  7. I found a seller on aliexpress that sells heatsinks or heatsink fins according to order and measurements. MoreSuns CustomElectronic Product Store https://a.aliexpress.com/_EIklD3B Those fans I think are from the p870dm, p775dm but they are 5v and the ones from the p870dm2 tm km are 12v I can't tell you which one is better, the 9900k or the QTJ1 I still haven't gotten the rtx3080 😩 to video
  8. Although it is an XMG U727 but the motherboard is a P870DM2, unless a vbios is also needed for rtx3080
  9. I acquired a sager that is the clone of the p775dmg, the bios that came although it was compatible with gtx10 and gtx900m graphics it turns out that only one or the other worked depending on whether I changed the bios from uefi to legacy
  10. The offer is appreciated on your part, what price would it be? Send me some images to evaluate. Although for now I am trying to see if I am able to make a proper adaptation, I have two models in mind, it is more of a personal challenge. Regarding the vapor chamber heatsinks, I see them as nonsense, they only dissipate more heat because they have more surface area with the air and move the heat internally, but it could be equaled with a copper sheet of the same size, adding some steam tubes and heatsinks glued together. On top of that, in addition, the master dissipation grille could be increased to almost double the volume and has a horrible shape that prevents the correct flow of air when it comes out. They placed part of the motherboard and the HDMI connector on the slave, which had to be below usb...... And the steam tubes in the double heatsink system are incorrectly positioned. What I really needed was the bios, since I bought the graphics on eBay since the deadline is running out in case you have any problems to be able to claim.
  11. Hello, I am a newcomer to the forum, about a year ago I acquired an XMG U727 that will be a p870dm2/dm3 with a gtx1080, I changed the cpu to a Qtj1 with the bios dsanke. I recently bought an rtx3080 and when I tried it I saw that it doesn't give an image, so when I searched on the Internet I ended up here and I see that it is necessary to update the bios. I know that the graphics card works because I placed it in the other mxm port next to the 1080 so that it started the laptop and checked with gpu, Although I don't have a proper heatsink, I put a table one with a steel sheet to hold it. Could someone pass me the bios? Do those fans push more airflow than the originals? Block hot air leaks by improving the temperature I think 7 degrees. I also put tape on the fan fins, although I increase the airflow now makes a lot of noise when it's at half power. With the improvements I managed to lower the temperature to 80 degrees with 190w and to 60 degrees limiting the power to 150w and with a little OC losing only 5% of performance. Let's see if I can make a heatsink for the 3080 with some plates and screw them on The cable that goes to the slave gpu was made by me, I got connectors for 10 wires with their pins and I also bought my own pliers for crimping, the cable is from an rj45.
