  1. Hi Maro, can you share me the link to your Firestrike Score online to check them more deeply. I like your temps by the way! I'm limited by my ram, only 2800 cl16...
  2. Hi Developer, I can life with it, it is just one way to get the 3080 RTX screwed to the vapor chamber. The small "arms" can a bit adjusted to fit the holes in the vapor chamber. I didn't want to sell something, I just thought I let the community know how I did it. I didn't mean to upset you. Some improvements: I added a thin 20mm*20mm*0.5mm (better would be 25mm*25mm but not available) copper plate between the GPU-Die (size is 20mm*20mm) and the vapor chamber and for all other components I used ~50-60g Thermal Putty (100g Halnziye HY2610 Thermal Putty - 10 W/mK from ebay) to get them connected to the vapor chamber. I didn't modified the other copper shims, just used the putty for it. I think your Mod did some more changes and it is still the professionell way to do it and gives more durability for sure. The Firestrike Overall Score is 26396 with 82°C Hotspot and 66°C average temperature. https://www.3dmark.com/fs/34646133 (GPU max 1965Mhz@0.900v Core and +1500Mhz Mem and CPU 4.6Ghz all core). But 1965Mhz was not stable 24/7. For all day use I set the GPU Voltage curve to max out at 1935Mhz @0.900v with Afterburner and +1500 Mem. 5 hours Road to Vostok gaming was stable =o) I am waiting eagerly for your well done MXM-PCIe Adapter, as you already know, I have 1x P870TM (mine) and 2x P870KM in my family and they also want to upgrade some day if money allows ;-) Best regards Mike
  3. Hey Developer79, I’m not sure why you think I copied your work. I already sent you a private message about this, but I’ll clarify it here in the public thread: this is my own modding project. I never received any information from you or anyone on how you did your work. In fact, I asked you more than once over the last few weeks/months via private message how much your 3080 mod cost, but I never received a response. Because of that, I decided to start my own modding. There’s no rocket science involved. I simply used a caliper and standard tools to create my own mod, as I couldn’t wait any longer. I suggest we keep this conversation private. I only wanted to clear this up because you claimed I copied your work, which is absolutely not the case. This is 100% my own work, and I never received any guidance from you or anyone else on how to do it. I just used my own brain and skills. Hey Maro, yes, it works! Thx again =o) There is no "rtx 30xx adapter"! I just cutted of the arms from the old 1080 card backplate bracked and drilled holes etc. well.., you can read it all in my post above.
  4. Thanks to Maro97 I got the Bios now.
  5. I forgot my bios show the following data with my current bios: VGA: Unknown VBIOS Revision: 94.04.46.00.15 VBIOS Build Date: 02/05/21 And after 1 Minute, the FAN's go 100% and 1 more Minute it powers off the Clevo. The seller said the card is from a X170.
  6. Hello P870 Community, is there anyone out there, that have the bios for P870TM + 3080 handy? I searched the whole forum and other websites, but I can't find the correct bios file. My bios is Dsanke 1.07.16 + EC 1.05.04. with i9 9900kf After I modded my vaporchamber with standard tools like angel grander, standing drilling maschine + 2mm drill + 8mm drill, and for the bracket adapter, I used the old 1080 back bracket and cutted of the "arms" with the M2 thread. Drilled a 2mm hole in all 4 "mini arms" and file down the M2 thread to 1mm as it is a bit to high and would not raise the GPU to the vaporchamber. Then I screw them to the 3080, so they "look" to the GPU-Die. I also used the electric nail file from my wife to make the 2mm hole in the arms a bit more to a oblong hole, so I had a little variable mounting position to meet the old 1080 mounts. I marked the picture with yellow marker where I have made my changes: everything is connected to the vaporchamber and should have propper contact after checking 3 times. Now I "only" need the bios with 3080 support ;-) It would be really nice if someone can send it to me. Best regards Mike
