Sadly I have the same problem as you have, what I have found for my p870tm is to keep it on driver 528.49 ( latest sli working) anything above makes it freeze on loading screen or if I manage to get in to windows it goes every 20 30 seconds 1 frame... ( now it sits in a box) Managed to get some other laptop.. X170km and a 775tm for my wife.

I would be also interested in this.. Just bought 1 p870tm1g and 1 775tm1g.. Both running 1080s. I would love to see someone explaining what is to do and what modifications require the heatsink..
