tCL at 32 seems to be a no go even at 1300 and increased tRCD/tRP at 40.
Yes, undervolt protection disabled and virtualization disabled in BIOS, core isolation appears to be disabled in windows.
There's a large fluctuation in my Time Spy scores on a run to run basis from 25k to just over 26k.
I'm using the watercooler and the laptop is raised on a stand.
NGU at 30 and D2D at 31.
Yeah on my other Neo with 13900HX undervolts gave pretty decent improvements.
How much extra voltage would you suggest?
Tried at VDD 1275 and 1300.
Edit: does the Control Centre override XTU?
My undervolt appears to have nil effect.
These are the settings I used with my old Neo 17 with I9-13900HX probably not ideal for Arrow Lake but worked.
Still looking to get the voltages right for 7200MT/s but nothing is sticking and it restarts to 4800MT/s. Will keep upping the votages.
Appears stable at 7000MT/s; VDD 1225, VDDQ 1175, & VPP 1800 with the standard 6400MT/s XMP timings.
I have just noticed that my 275hx limits to 160w no matter what I set PL1 and PL2 at.
Any idea why?
Edit: I am testing in XTU. Limits to 160w in the stress test but will pull up to 195w in XTU's benchmark.
Edit2: cpu only pulls 60w in timespy cpu bench.
OK, so no undervolt and CC Performance profile set to Overboost/Overboost extreme I hit 17969 CPU score as a custom run.
What profile are you using in CC?
So I "upgraded" from the Neo 17 E23 with I9-13900HX and RTX 4090 to the Neo 16 E25 with Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5090.
Timespy score from Neo 17 - 23644
Timespy score from Neo 16 - 24474
Detailed comparison.
So it looks like the 5090 is ~11.6% more powerful than the 4090 but the Ultra 9 is 33% less powerful than the I9-13900HX.
Advice, suggestions, help please.
