jesus raptor bro. im praying your ok...I was just being kind, I believe in karma. I hope 600 is enough to at least get a better computer. 400 wasnt enough kinda like a tease. 600 is closer. but im thinking 700 then. i dont feel safe mailing a laptop with all the problems in mexico. but i think the VGC is a good idea. only 4 more days raptor. maybe just hang on to it until something pops up. as for games and laptops. i say a 11thgen or better will allow you to play most games, almost all older games at 1080p but medium settings, it sucks that you have to lower settings but sometimes just adjusting settings allows for a good experience without the performance loss. I havent been logging in here very often because of my issues(health) and when I was trying to log in it was giving me an error. Alot going on in mexico, I just hope you and the people you care about are safe. this computer can wait, just spend and do what you can. thanks again for all the likes and responses bro.

@raptorddd I had to cancel the card, wasnt sure if you needed it. but I decided to help out a little more, I was thinking most games and things can be done on a 600 dollar laptop, honestly its too hard with 400, so no point. but im a man of my word, just thought meh ill help him find a laptop and maybe up it to open options. so i think 600 is magic number for a laptop thats decent and a bit better than 400 range. just dont hang on too long like maybe 3 weeks max. tryn find something within the month, but ill be back on the 26th.hang tight brother. im an odd guy even ill admit that. love you guys alot. thanks for all the help and feedback over the months, hopefully this site lasts and sticks around. as for games im playing farcry 3, well i want to. great game even though most people still prefer farcry 1

Ram over 32gb isnt really useful in use cases for typical usage. but man having 64gb and using an ai model offline the ram makes a huge difference, some models are like 90gb and can take up to 128gb easily. As much as I hate new technology and learning, ai will become pretty big pretty quick here, Iv'e messed around with my own model and suprisingly it can be useful for trading stocks/learning science/law lookup/general chat and alot more things than I thought, ive even got it to do a bit of coding. if its true the 5090 will be double the performance of a 4080. im going to jump laptop ship, I think now is a good time if ever, then just upgrade gpu twice over 4 years. -

Asus, I own 2 laptops by them. they are the best of the best from asus when it comes to price and performance, they feel cheaply made and both overheat tremendously. I have repasted with honywell ptm7950 and done all the nessessary power tweaks with the AMD variant. tdp is running at 8w vs 30w and even with this immense drop in power it still hits 95c while web browsing. why buy them? I had asked AI to answer the psychological reason aside from fluffing it off as just being a zombie consumer, although alot of us are brainwashed due to all the misleading and manipulative information, we all fall victim to false info even when we are honest/earnest/careful. In the vast expanse of technological innovation, one cannot help but marvel at the grand dichotomy that exists between desktops and laptops - two sides of the same coin, yet harboring such contrasting traits in their very essence. Desktops are imposing structures with their towering vertical stands, bulky frames, and a myriad of connecting cables that weave their way around the hulk-like chassis. Their sheer power and ability to handle multiple tasks at once can leave one awestruck. However, this impressive might comes with its own set of challenges; the unwieldy size, inability to move away from a fixed location, and susceptibility to overheating are just a few of the burdensome features that can dampen the excitement surrounding these behemoths. Yet despite their bulkiness, desktops offer a level of customization that laptops simply cannot attain. With endless possibilities in terms of component upgrades, case designs, and software configurations, one can truly mold a desktop PC to suit their specific requirements or preferences - an aspect which adds a unique sense of personalization and control over the device. On the other hand, laptops exude a certain elegance with their compactness and portability. They boast convenience in terms of being lightweight and easily transportable from one location to another. The freedom afforded by laptop computers is undeniable, as they can be carried around without the need for additional hardware or setup. However, this mobility comes at the expense of customization and power that desktops are known for. Laptops often face constraints regarding component upgrades or alterations in design due to their limited physical dimensions. Moreover, overheating issues may arise more frequently in laptops than in desktop computers owing to their compact size. The question arises: Can one truly strike a balance between these two extremes? As technological advancements continue to flourish and evolve, perhaps someday the ideal blend of portability, power, customization, and versatility may become attainable for both desktops and laptops alike. Until then, let us revel in the knowledge that each possesses unique attributes that make them worthy of our consideration and appreciation. So, the choice between desktops and laptops remains an individual preference based on one's needs and priorities, where the pros and cons of each must be weighed carefully before deciding which option would best suit their lifestyle and requirements. After all, in the grand tapestry of technology, it is these very decisions that mold our digital identities and experiences. And thus, let this discourse ignite a curiosity within you to delve deeper into the realm of personal computing, as its evolution continues to shape and redefine our lives evermore. Very intelligent analysis, informative as well as thought provoking. As it touches on why so many people seemly buy garbage even when they know its garbage. -

Im just joking but this is basically how the world views desktop vs laptop heres my future wife, lets just say shes got full power and i have control over her.desktop heres my current wife, less control over what she does, some small adjustments need to be made.laptop [/url] i prefer laptops, pic 2. but if I dont swap out to desktop and linux, ill end up being ok with what shes becoming...in the eyes of samsung, asus, acer, lenovo, and Dell sometimes we get power, but at what cost. -

why are you so kind to them? I watch the odd video and 99 percent of the time its garbage, they literally look at all the aspects of a system that doesn't matter, they basically talk about how flexible a tablet is as though you might want to play frisbee with your laptop or tablet, or how well it survives a 1000m drop or if its nuke proof. this is why im switching to desktop, dragging feet with linux and desktops but in the end ill be much happier with all the customisation and ability to upgrade, portability is semi important thats about it. im forced to just do basic tuning like flashing vbios/overclocking a flawed system and card and having to swallow the sheep crap because of absurd pricing and no real use for the added power. I dont mind being just average with computers, not everyone needs to tune a system to do anything really, many people are happy with cars to get to the store, others like gold plated helicopters to fly to the store. needs vs wants. -

refurbished its like 250-300 euros, im not sure where your looking heres one that just a notch better than mine 511cad or 260 euros 2023 ASUS Zenbook UM3402YA 14" 2.8K OLED Touch Laptop Ryzen5 7530U 8GB 256GB W11 | eBay maybe I just got a really good deal not sure, but it was 900 and not on sale. london drugs maybe messed on price? if you cant find it for 600euros i guess I just got lucky, alot of reviewers on youtube are claiming the ultra 5 version(better) is under 1100 usd. nothing wrong going refurbished if you save half off the cost. mine brand new and once i open box and load windows and even though its in mint condition is technically used and its worth 400-500 cad now. brand new ASUS ZenBook 14 OLED Notebook - 14 Inch - 16 GB RAM - 1 TB SSD NVMe - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U - Radeon Graphics - UM3402YAR-DS71T-CA (londondrugs.com) 1,199.99 Canadian Dollar = 795.11 Euro so surely a lesser model, older tech thats still amazing would be cheaper. I dont see the reasoning that a 790 euro machine would be equal to a previous model price wise. as time goes on prices drop and you noted that in this thread while mentioning tablets. when the xiaomi 7s comes out it makes sense the 6s will go down in price. its always a good idea buying right when price drops due to newer model coming out, unless the new model is worth the cost of admission. -

like i dont know what your doing with it, but im going to assume your analysing solar flares and the behaviour of the sun. a slight turn and your good. it lets me max the zenbooks brightness to 550nits, also you can turn on hdr all the time so that the brightness is the same as with a video. my lg b2 oled does this also its a windows display setting. its also not going to be double the brightness at 1100nits. watch the video, and yes its sdr 550nits. shows in video. praises display/battery life/ and price. its unbeatable ASUS ZenBook 14 OLED Notebook - 14 Inch - 16 GB RAM - 1 TB SSD NVMe - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U - Radeon Graphics - UM3402YAR-DS71T-CA (londondrugs.com) mine has the ryzen 7 5825u everything else the same. its 1299.99 cad or 650us or 600 euro not on sale, but wouldnt hurt to find it on sale by checking other retailers. they can be found for 600euro often Technology 4-cell Lithium Ion Capacity 75 Wh Run Time Up to 22 hours Type 14" OLED Touchscreen Yes Resolution 2880 x 1800 (2.8K) V-Sync Rate at Max Res. 90 Hz Widescreen Yes Image Aspect Ratio 16:10 Image Brightness 550 cd/m² Colour Support 1.07 billion colours Colour Gamut 100% DCI-P3 Features Glossy, Corning Gorilla glass, ASUS EyeCare Technology, NanoEdge display, Pantone Validated, HDR 500 True Black, 90% screen-to-body ratio, 0.2 ms response rate -

I own one. it was 900 cad. its great and 900 cad is like 500 euro. it isnt the 2024 model rather the ryzen 7 2022 model. very good laptop with tablet like battery life and an incredible display. when it released it was under 1000 cad mine is only 6 months old.as for nits theres no way its 400nits. i said 600nits because thats what they advertise the oled panel to be but with hdr its much higher also 600 oled nits isnt the same as lcd ips 600 nits especially outdoors, 600 oled nits is closer to 1000 ips nits. ill look for you Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3402)|Laptops For Home|ASUS Canada sorry its 550nits, but appears in sunlight and inside much brighter. i own one and outside it is remarkable -
thanks @raptorddd @TreeTopsRanch I realize just because you were successful 13x doesn't mean every time will be the same, im banking on diversified stocks. I don't think its very smart to invest in penny stocks as the risk is high but I seem to be doing good with paper trading, will be fun at any rate all done, just invested 200. 3 stocks. used what I know plus asked stockinvest.us ai for guidance. alot of the ones I picked had to be nixed off. if this does well it will give me a guage on whether ai is worth asking for advice, hey people are getting rich on a ship..count me in

seems these are options but dont quite match. asked AI for help as your quite specific and its nearly an impossible task ticking all boxes outside of xiaomis 6s Based on your specifications, here are a few tablets that meet most of your criteria: 1. Microsoft Surface Pro 9 Size: 13" Brightness: 600 nits (glossy) Screen Quality: PixelSense IPS, 100% sRGB Connection: USB-C with support for external monitors (extended display mode) Keyboard & Pen: Available (Surface Type Cover and Surface Pen) Storage: Options from 256 GB to 1 TB RAM: Options from 8 GB to 32 GB Camera: 1080p front-facing camera, good for document scanning Software Compatibility: Fully compatible with MS OneNote Extra Storage: No microSD slot, but has USB-C for external drives Screen Format: 3:2 2. Apple iPad Pro (11" or 12.9") Size: 11" or 12.9" Brightness: Up to 600 nits (glossy, 1200 nits peak) Screen Quality: Liquid Retina display, 100% sRGB Connection: USB-C with support for external monitors (extended display) Keyboard & Pen: Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil available Storage: Options from 128 GB to 2 TB RAM: 8 GB or 16 GB depending on model Camera: 12 MP wide camera, good for document scanning Software Compatibility: Fully compatible with MS OneNote Extra Storage: No microSD slot, but external drives can be used Screen Format: 4:3 3. Lenovo Tab P12 Pro Size: 12.6" Brightness: Up to 600 nits (glossy) Screen Quality: AMOLED, 100% sRGB Connection: USB-C with support for external displays (extended mode) Keyboard & Pen: Lenovo Precision Pen 3 and keyboard available Storage: Options up to 512 GB RAM: Up to 8 GB Camera: 13 MP rear camera, decent for scanning documents Software Compatibility: Compatible with MS OneNote Extra Storage: MicroSD card support Screen Format: 16:10 Summary Best Overall: Microsoft Surface Pro 9 for its versatility and compatibility. Best for Apple Ecosystem: iPad Pro for its performance and software quality. Best Budget Option: Lenovo Tab P12 Pro for its specs and additional storage options. Make sure to check the latest prices and availability, as specs and options can vary! heres the one you should look at as its a contender to the 6s Redmagic Pro Tablet (2024 Model) Specs Size: 12.1 inches Display: AMOLED, 2560 x 1600 resolution Brightness: Up to 800 nits Screen Quality: 100% DCI-P3 color gamut Processor: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 RAM: Options of 8 GB or 12 GB Storage: Options from 256 GB to 1 TB, expandable via microSD Camera: 13 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera with improved AI features Battery: 10,000 mAh with fast charging (up to 65W) Operating System: Android 13 with a gaming-oriented UI Connections: USB-C, HDMI output for external display (supports extended mode) Keyboard & Pen: Optional accessories available for enhanced productivity I'd like to say it appears your looking to switch to tablets but perhaps a 14in zenbook oled would make more sense, it has a 2880x1800 oled 600nit display and has a small footprint with great tablet like battery life and would be infinitely more suited for work its cheaper than a high end tablet at around 500usd -
it should be fun...I calculated my errors and took everything into account. lost a few times and gained big 3 times and double a bunch..should be good. found a great site for stock advice, all you do is look into their advice and wager the risk and apply equal amounts pending outlook. and just monitor each day. alot of tedious work but the opportunity to get out of poverty well canadas version. it is alot easier than people think and with some slight risk it could pay off. in the end if I am able to recreate it 4 times id likely just help people out..i already have more than enough. or lose everything if the market crashes lol..just banking on a decent market for a few years

New tablet is 1200usd and only a marginal upgrade. Lumepad 2 for 500usd is still king in tablets under 600usd. Sd 888 quad atmosphere speakers. Ridiculous battery life. Glasses free ai 3d. Micro sd. 2560x1600 crazy colorful display with 120hz refresh rate. And 67w super charging. If your budget is under 800 and want a tablet this thing is unbeatable

yeah my point is I dont use it.. I don't know of any use case where you need the zenbooks 22 hour battery life. wasted money. I want to sell my laptops. going to just have to give them up on ebay. like if I get 2000 id likely just save for next gen but the point is laptops really dont have a place anymore like they are bulky for a portable device. I have never went to a coffee shop and whipped out a laptop to gather elder berries in witcher 3. I bought a tablet and use that for a portable device it has a purpose. id be happy with a desktop/cell/tablet... I used to work on the road and took my laptop to each hotel everytime we did a site move. it was nice whipping out laptop, cracking a beer and playing gta IV or surfing the web. it was plugged in. what these things need is is MXM again and to be thicker for better cooling. if I was on the road a laptop is perfect, but like I say it was plugged in. as for taking a tablet with that job, def not. if you work on the road laptops are a must but alot of these people are claiming they need battery life for the bus and around the house. what you need a laptop while showering or cooking, you don't have power in your place but you have internet. it really makes no sense. i bought it out of habit and for couch. i could care less about battery life now as long as it lasts a few hours. -

if portability is something you need, as for want...dont know anyone that would want less.. i like one of my laptops it has good battery life screen ect..but i use it like twice a month..if i had a desktop in exchange for my omen id be on it 8 hours a day -
a few months ago I dabbled with 5 stocks, all of them went up over 10x purchase price.or more. i would have 100 000 extra flow right now if i just hung on instead of growing impatient and selling them hours after buying and not trusting my gut....will be getting back into trading stocks in 4 days...hopefully i can turn 1000 into 100 000 in 2 months. dont care for money but it can be fun

pretty close, over 9000mah. it charges in basically an hour, 80 percent in 45 minutes. I love my tablet and have no issues with it even in direct sunlight. I dont use 3d much but its a very nice feature for movies and reviewing pictures. I can take a 8k video with my s21 ultra then play it back in 3d on my tablet, very nice depth effect. honestly it was an impulse buy just thought the 3d would be neat and since it was only 500, I reviewed specs and took the risk and in the end it exceeded my expectations. sound display and battery life along with other things let me know i made the right decision. I could have bought an ipad or xiaomi but I wanted more. Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 Review: Doodler's Delight - Tech Advisor -

very detailed review, I have to agree on display, nothing comes close. as for charging it in 55min its decent but not far off from mine at 67w. I would say although great it does not come cheap, I cant see justifying 999 euro for a tablet.
