    if you had told me you were going to test, i'd be thinking the same thing, no way it will run..not even on low nevermind medium with raytracing. just rad. did you upgrade your display also? I wonder if its possible to do a screen mod and get a OLED or miniled in your m18

    haha nice, thats incredible!! heres 4k medium no raytracing 66 scale with dlss I cant believe your getting 48 fps with a 12 yearold system, its basically putting new systems to shame. is the game any good, good as the hype?

    geez thats crazy, I used to have a sager np8150 and it had a mxm 6990m I could have upgraded that beast to a 3080..insane thats 14 years/ looks like your cpu bottlenecked, id try mixing in a few high settings

    restarted the program to make sure settings were set correctly host photo yup little lower

    nice!! I ran the benchmark with your medium settings and got 111fps with my 3060

    this is for our local video gamer boy lover..none other than you know who... 1080p/FG on/Low preset so I guess if you dont mind running at 1080p in windowed mode its a nice experience

    does your office work include phto quality>? I was under the impression you say office work when in reality it will be used for entertainment as one of your requirements is 100 srgb and 256gb..256gb of text speadsheets is like 100 000 000 files...busy man lol

    I have to agree, Frame gen and dlss improvements as well as ray tracing optimization is a big reason many have and should make the switch, when I had my 4080 laptop it was double the framerates as my omen 16 and with the optimizations well over triple the performance, FG made a pretty big difference. Now that its long gone, im wondering if I should have just kept it or put the money towards the 4080 legion desktop. as of this month im saving to get a desktop during boxing day, it will be a very good christmas this year.

    oh ok thanks for that, I use it for just 1 game ratchet and clank benchmarking, it doubles framerates and I dont notice any visual change. I had a 4080 laptop briefly but returned it due to geforce now being a better solution for me with my internet connection upgrade. looks like wukong is coming to game pass and works with geforce now, curious how a 4080 fairs. had to check, yeah I had no idea you could use fg from amd with nvidia cards without the mod, guess you can. been using dlss with it so its still helpful. screengrab RD nice temps paps 😛

    My omen 16 has been upgraded to the max wifi 7 64gb ram 8tb ssd and the fans went, need to get replacements but cannot find them for the life of me.

    heres my 3060 with fg on and 4k native resolution all low settings..im going to have to respectfully disagree...37fps isnt exactly playable these days especially with FG on. quick Q. whats the difference between the modded FG and native? i dont notice it affecting IQ either way just slightly higher fps

    I tried the nexus mod. Works well aka looks good, as for gains it's decent. I can't run black myth at 4k unless I use like 25 percent scaling, I guess it's mainly for the heavy hitters and their 4090s. I can't see a 4070 or 4060 running this game even at 1440p unless everything is turned off.. either way I will say it's a better benchmark than steel nomad

    I basically do the same thing, benchmark games.. because I'm on a laptop, I'm monitoring temps as well.

    I put it back together..you have to remove heatsink to get fans out..so not doing that again..I think it's not available, no fans exist to replace these ones

    Benching first gaming second lol..paps where's that funny pic..honestly I don't see anything wrong with gaming or going as far as to say gaming is for losers..pretty much everyone with a computer has gamed at one point, I think it's true things have changed so much it kinda does cater to the fringe but once every 10 years a game comes out worth playing. For me that will be gta 6..going on killing sprees then fleeing the police never gets old...but honestly the new kids playing roblox and Pokémon. I get why you'd think that when an adult does the same thing that they are either well u know..

    @Papusan didn't your clevo 980 hold up for 5 years? I was really hoping for five years but its tanking on games that are coming out, that 4fps was at 1080p. I mean even @Premas 4090 was tanking at max settings...do we have to buy every year, the graphics are twice as demanding but don't look twice as good.

    Did another exhilarating flythrough, pity I had to blink a few times, had to of missed 3 or 4 frames ruining the overall showcase. good thing I didnt buy a desktop as you gents suggested, otherwise I would have missed this exhilarating ride. what a rush

    @tps3443 has matched you guys...his numbers are close to yours, been following thread for two years and its suprising such a small forum houses the elite overclockers of the world..now all we need is for someone to hand out elite samples like what biso biso gets..

    yeah im using it on 3 laptops...0 issues. really effective stuff. need to find a solution for my zenbook, it still hits 90c easily. then again it is 0.6in thick..what do you expect kinda situation.

    Consistent here also..buttery smooth 4fps maxed..I prefer this cinematic experience. Goes to show what alot of advances in tech and obscene amounts of time can accomplish..all kidding aside it is actually a very consistent and accurate benchmark with great visuals. Not much difference from timespys accuracy.

    Your system might be ready for 240/4k. Just dail down a couple settings and most of your collection should be able to hit 240. Thanks for sharing

    170 plus fps..antsy need to get a 4080/4090 desktop..I have geforce now and internet 2gig for it with decent ping...it's just not the same. Feels similar to a remote desktop. Waiting patiently for nvidia to have a canadian server either west or central canada. Once they do that there will be little reason to get a new computer. If they opt out it looks like my first desktop will be a 4080 12th gen setup.
