  1. found a tweak that nets you 10 percent more points in timespy HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\NVIDIAGREED\SHEEP\COMMAND
  2. I found something funny just showing you cant trust what you read. clearly the legion 5 is better than my omen 16 check this https://www.rtings.com/laptop/tools/compare/lenovo-legion-5-gen-6-15-2021-vs-hp-omen-16-2022/15863/27734?usage=10348&threshold=0.10
  3. The original 357 load was a 158 grain bullet with an advertised muzzle velocity of 1525 fps. just giving you a hint also I find it wild that we will see a titan. just to bad in a egpu setup id see like 3060ti performance, sometimes I wonder if its on purpose kinda like they are forcing us to buy each gen. technology has advanced alot and I find it hard to believe they cant get 4090 performance out of a laptop with thunderbolt 4, or heck even come up with a standard that can take the full power of a 4090 and this guy wasnt to far off if you can see the 4090 as the titan
  4. I think Im done benchmarking this turdbook. was fun getting over 9k I cant imagine 10k unless I put it in a freezer. Now im just going to play the odd game at stock clocks. Im getting better perforamnce at stock now im getting 70-90fps in crysis maxed the way I like it(no motion blur or aa) and gta V completely maxed with the same results. just did a half hour session was relaxing and a nice break. heres pics GTA V crysis for some reason the fps was cut out
  5. yeah I heard its 102-450? whats the difference I think the 3080-4090 is overkill for 4k/60 gaming and most people won't be doing high resolution high refresh gaming. I think most people will fall into the 1440p/165hz bracket. and @Mr. Fox brother I'll try that right now see if I cant get within chips reach of 9200 gpu, next step is to test more drivers. and I actually just got eso and it helped by about 100 points. so I was thrilled with that, I think im going to keep windows defender unless it nets a big difference. im thinking drivers now
  6. oh and good news. I finally managed to top 9000. took what felt like forever. I should have bought a legion 5 as stock its 115w 3060 gets 9500-9600 in timespy. quite a bit faster than my omen 16 was a bit weird getting 9(666) score out of the first of many trys and finally breaking 9k with something like 9666
  7. Ohhh now that's exciting..I wonder if we will see a titan that's 40 percent faster than a 4090...would be worth buying granted it's not 4500 bucks..I think the people that went out and bought a 4090 will regret it if a titan drops
  8. I'm trying to break 9000 gpu score with my 3060. And what seems Neverending is the tweaks trials and errors. I got 8 points to go. And no clue as to what to do as the score fluctuates 20 up 20 down with no changes. I really do respect you guys and envy your patience...I'm maxed out and feel like smashing my turdbook..I'm sooo close to selling it and getting a desktop
  9. when lower temps with pascal plus gpus drops score and performance...nuff said
  10. thats the absolute truth/ I watched a video on Biso Biso and he had the highest quality binned gpu, best area to work, free liquid nitrogen, and a group of YES men. he had everything, literally everything on a gold platter. lucky him
  11. is it collective though? like is it from a highest score or from the total times benchmarked like a certain amount of points each time.. It says your 1st out of 4? core i9 rank is what out of 4 people like it doesnt say much. and if it is what it is. then sponsorship must be close
  12. im new to cpu benchmarking, but doesnt that say you are number 3 in the world>? if so. impressive what does it mean? number 1 with 3dmark 11? or 1st with 13900k
  13. ? ? ? like literally the whole world applies it to silicon quality? https://www.google.com/search?q=asic+quality&rlz=1C1ONGR_enCA1037CA1037&oq=asic+quality&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60j69i61.13378058j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  14. jesus. I had no idea. it looks like asic quality is king, if you care about overclocking
  15. tesla is good but I wonder how it compares to other premium choices
  16. AMEN. Thats very true. a imperfect water drop into water creates an imperfect ripple no matter how perfect it appears
  17. ill post my bet. he wont spend more than a month in jail. this is proof the system is corrupt
  18. you knew what i was talking about. thats the important part of communication....understanding. but thanks for the crash course. learn something new each day. I'd like to argue also lol. When a word is not a recognized word it is incorrect. but when enough people use the word and its widely understood it becomes a correct word. ASIC quality by millions is understood to be the quality of the gpu chip and many experts and laymen alike know. they refer to the same thing with the same meaning. when someone comes along and tells millions its the wrong word or term. who really is right. clearly the millions that refer to asic quality on gpus as being the quality of the silicon much like sp on a cpu. so yeah just a little blurb(prob not a word but it will eventually be one lol)
  19. ok now this really is vomit inducing. I say we get our pickforks and storm the headquarters. I want a revolution, bring back mxm and proper overclocking you know. In all honesty what can we do that will make even the slightest impact, I think NBT members should start a joint channel and promote something positive for the end user. If we don't stand for something, we will fall for anything
  20. haha paps.....thats too funny, I always love your guys comments, cheers me up. I honestly think in 2 years it will be all dumbified
  21. I hear the undertones. I get that. But when the effect is random im afraid alot of people dumb and smart fall into that catergory. and all the new school overclockers are doing/saying is PI is exactly 3. wrong/right. no proof of concept. for example if it was skill, and not random. what guide would you introduce for people using pascal up chips too get world record scores, because if it was skill it would be replicable. as it stands overclock 50 overclock 50 more and yet again 50 more artifacts back down 10 untill it goes away. then lower temps then cross fingers. Ive literally tweaked the crap outta my laptop and when it was bloated scored 9200 gpu in timespy now my max is around 8900, same drivers ect. it just isn't replicable. the tiniest change can have a profound impact.
  22. I honestly think LEGO computers will become a thing. they got rid of MXM and made overclocking basically automatic and therefore safe. its just greed fueling these trends. less risk to them= more money. people would wreck cards and return them and nvidia/amd/intel would lose money. its kinda like a food bank having to supply meat, expensive and when some of it goes bad they have to throw it out and people lose. so they do the obvious, stop giving out meat. but is that the ethical and right descision? no.....freeking people need meat. people need customization. people need modularity. this is just fricken dumb. STOP
  23. yeah I used to overclock years ago, now I just benchmark casually with no clue as to what im doing. I don't get pascal up cards. too reliant on temps. I remember my 260m overvolting it and overclocking the crap out of it. I broke a few records with each gpu I bought but yeah those days are over as it seems more like a lottery. less skill more luck. and now the big question is? will nvidia and amd as well as intel snuff out this skill and make everything more like dumb blocks(lego-computers)>?
  24. quick question does anyone know how i can find my asic quality with my laptops 3060...gpuz doesnt seem to have it with the newest version..also i broke my record. 2100 barrier. equates to less than this but I was getting artifacting also worth mentioning I got my highest port royal score with stable clocks i mean asic quality via gpuz eternal
