Did anyone here buy the anniversary edition of the Precision 5470? By any chance did it come with a custom wallpaper from Dell? I bought the 5520 AE a long time ago and it had a special wallpaper. Just curious if anyone has one of these...

Interesting they moved the left USB-C ports to the middle of the laptop It looks like they took the Precision 7670 thin chassis and converted it to the new 5000 series laptops. I wonder if it has any implications for future XPS lineups? Not a fan of soldered DIMMs, yucky They ditched the model number scheme for OptiPlex desktops ... wat the heck?

i have to say, the precision 7670 looks quite ugly. but aesthetics isnt the reason for buying this 🤭 im hoping the older models are still available for cyber monday sales. i see the precision 5760 is 50% off, hopefully they do a clearance sale then.

i believe the WiFi is soldered going forward bc Intel moved the WiFi "CPU" into the onboard SoC, or something along those lines. Can anyone confirm this?

So there is no 7570 coming right, just 7670/7770? I guess Intel is not going to release Xeon mobiles for this? So no ECC RAM going forward? This also means Windows for Workstations is dead

Are they not releasing Xeon Alder Lake HX chips? Dont see any mention of it anywhere

Can the efficiency cores be disabled in the bios? If so that should make it Win10 compatible no?
