  2. Things are in cruise mode so i post here the new Huawei Matepad 13.2" 2025 , OLED 1000nits with anti reflection, 580g so lighter than smaller tablets. Mine is 590g with 12.4". This is pushing to another quality level and priced accordingly with pen, bluetooth mouse and keyboard 1199 euros. Mine without extras was 499 euro. Caveats, their CPU's are not top performers compared to the top snapdragon and Mediatek, OS increasingly departing from Android ecosystem, so consider it a walled garden like Apple. Not certain that Android apps will work along the tablet years of use and their OS updates. An horrible Huawei decision is the camera notch, would have killed my decision to buy it if i had that kind of money.
  3. If there is value rounding it might change.
  4. Thanks for the feedback, this is part of what a forum should be. If LG Gram had a 800 nits screen i would have considered it against an Android tablet albeit would be probably too expensive.
  5. Notebookcheck reviews the 12.7 Lenovo Yoga Tab, as i commented when i posted the video, they need to make it lighter 600g is probably the limit for hand operation for most man, for a woman would be even less. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-Yoga-Tab-Plus-review-The-affordable-giant-tablet-takes-on-the-iPad-Pro.958126.0.html
  6. The Hi-Fi via Tp Link HA100 bluetooh music receiver issue of only on HI FI speaker with sound was possibly fixed with a tablet reboot. Xiaomi support answered promptly in same day but had no bearing in the solution which i am not certain what it was.
  7. I don't think so, i don't remember changing anything this is how it looks like for me in Vivaldi.
  8. Started to learn Canvas a graphic app, it works well with the tablet. In term of performance i have no issues , i do the same as my former laptop. I have usually several apps opened, 2-3 browsers with a dozen tabs each, OneNote, Outlook and gmail apps, phone message app and Whatsapp. Got the first hardware issue, connected bluetooth to my Hi-Fi via Tp Link HA100 music receiver and only one of Hi-Fi speakers have sound, no issue for my phone, so it is some incompatibility between the tablet bluetooth and Tp link that do not occur with my phone. Sent a support request to Xiaomi.
  9. Installed Blackmagic Camera App since version 2.0 is being said compatible with Xiaomi Pad 6, It was a fail, seems to not work, certainly it is different hardware from the smaller sibling. It shows how Android is different from Windows regarding compatibility. One of best cameras in tablets i took some video at 4K 60 FPS and photos and was ok. OneNote use of camera as been without issues, i have been using mostly for documents. Tablet 3:2 format has been very helpful for my work.
  10. As one example of Android, Apps issues we have Whatsapp. I want to send a bunch of photos to a client, so pick the attachement clip in client dialog box and i will select the photos and it is done... nah, Whatsapp only shows the photos on gallery or overall all images in the tablet without any filter and you can't navigate to any specific folder so if you have 1000 images or more it is impossible to find what you want. Solution, go into one of the file management apps to the folder where images are, select the images and click on the 3 circles connected by 2 lines share icon to Whatsapp and to the client dialogue...done. On another hand i had no issues using Whatsapp in this tablet which do not have any phone communication and uses my phone hotspot on the field or home/office wifi.
  11. These are my conclusions for the moment: Paradigm shifts: -Battery and energy consumption: With laptop i took it from power source to move, with tablet i am always moving and put it in power source only after 4 days and about 1 hour long at most. -Startup time: tablet is ready to work out of the backpack or small bag, laptop takes time. -Weight: at 590g i have found using it when with a laptop would be impossible or a chore. Lets say i have 10 min of waiting, i would pick up the tablet, but would not the laptop. ------------ -Screen: this i did not put in paradigm shift because my laptop was old from 2018 with HD 15.6" screen not even FHD so not contemporary. But as you that have following me know, one of my initial requirements is video out to a big monitor, i was expecting to not be able to use the tablet for much time. Do to the excellent tablet display quality i have found i don't feel that, i only feel the need when i want to have 3 or 4 apps open on screen at same time. I increasingly have the opinion that display quality is essential for our eyes, one of my reactions 1-2 weeks after using the tablet was: my eyes are not that bad, i can read everything pretty fine. ---------------------- Cons: Windows is a very superior OS in file management. Opera is the only browser that i found that allows you to save files in the folder you want and also a different default folder but you always get a warning. The various "Explorer" apps have various degrees of incompleteness and are significantly inferior in usability to Windows Explorer.
  12. All went well with HP printer software -except having to make an account... - even lets me save scan files in folder i want it. But the printer itself from 2015 is not made for android. So i can't scan to tablet from the printer(only have scan to PC) need to do it from tablet HP app.
  13. Found myself not using the cover/keyboard neither HDMI to the big ProArt monitor ... One thing i am using a lot is split screen for 2 apps side by side.
  14. Just the Two of Us (feat. Bill Withers)
  15. The problem is that it is not online, so not on phone or tablet.
  16. It feels plastic. But it certainly have more information.
  17. Off the office/home yesterday and very good experience except again browsers - have no color site ID/symbol on tabs on Opera so will have to search if there is an option or have to change browser. Felt no need to use the cover/keyboard. Getting better acclimatised with "android explorers" , good that i can jump directories like in Windows in the address bar and that menus can remind of last folders used. I think the weight 590g it is near limit to a confortable experience with one hand, maybe 630-640g would be my limit, so it was okay showing business stuff to other people in a kitchen without an usable table. The large screen is very convenient. Still have to setup my HP all in one printer to scan to the tablet and to print from it. Not doing much of that last months but want it set.
  18. Meanwhile Lenovo releases a big 12.7 Tablet clearly for productivity. I think it is too heavy for one hand use.
  19. Things went faster than i was expecting, i never needed or felt the need to get back to the laptop PC for anything except getting information to the tablet so will start preparing it for formatting and then to be given to my family. The first thing and something that i already felt with M10 Tab is that i like the direct interaction with screen, so i feel confy with tablets and for me a mouse is entropy. For my Clevo and now my Legion i already have had cheap pen tablets to replace the mouse. If i had to write more than an A4 page i would need a proper keyboard, either the official cover+kb one or an external one. The cheap 30 euro cover+kb would not cut it.
  20. A good thing about tablet 12.4" screen is that it works ok 2 apps side by side and it is very easy to set.
  21. Today worked in sunny balcony, my house is old so darker than a modern home, one of the reasons for this buy - mailing, browsing, OneNote, web invoice program. It went well except i discovered Xiaomi super complete calc app don't allow any pasting!? got the Google calc... If you are looking more or less straight to the screen you don't have any reflections, the screen gets fingerprints but brightness goes trough them so not noticeable unless in a sleeping dark screen.
