I did the same, but apparently the instructions tell you to put the pad in the fridge for 10 min so its easier to work with it.

If I plug my laptop to an external screen, optimus disables, thus bypassing the integrated intel hd, and getting better GPU performance. Thats normal. What I dont get, is that CPU performance also improves. Cinebench R23 : ~8300 Cinebench R23 (optimus off) : ~8500 (got up to ~8700 with further undervolt, but 8500 score was with the same settings) 3dmark Time spy CPU score: 8500 3dmark Time spy CPU score (optimus off): 8700 (CPU test is just 1fps higher) I get 3dmark cpu score might benefit from the optimus off, because it uses the GPU, but why Cinebench score increases too? I tested like 5 times each bench with opitmus on and off. Laptop is a MSI GL65 10750h + 2070 super

Is there any place where I can see DIE sizes without having to pen (and re-pasting) my laptop? I thought 20x30 was the size of laptop cpu dies ,and 40x40 or 30x30 was around the size of my 2070s

I dont plan to use LM, just plain TFX. I remember some member at nbr forum decreasing a few degrees by lapping, but dont remember if he also posted the procedure.

Back on nbr,there was some post, with a tutorial to greatly increase the battery life by undervolting,underclocking plus more stuff,like regedit tweaks. I know the how to uv and uc, but I wanna see those tweaks. Does anyone have it?

Hello, back at NBR there was a reply from Falken in one of the MSI megathread I think, with BIOS settings to make the laptop report using less power, thus evading power throttle. There was another one which helped with undervolting. Does anyone have those guides?

I wanna replace my MSI GL65 thermal paste (currently using that EZ knockoff, been working pretty good) because its been like a year. The problem, is that instead of thermal pads, it came with thermal paste on the vrms,ram,etc . Like this: Does anyone know what thickness should I buy? 1mm?
