  1. Thanks for info, didnt know that, so Dell updater also works then....but anyway, I prefer rather from bios, one can never know 🙂
  2. Yeah, I tried it also, because I have that recovery bios, so it's fine for me now to check it. Immediately after update I can hear my cooling is more reacting to actual workload situation = little bit lower temperatures on CPU and GPU, few Celsius down, so I actually like this update. No issues so far for two days. PS: as SilverAzide commented, it take some time to restart and update it, I was also scared like for 10 seconds 😄I was updating it directly from bios, no capsule updates from win or linux allowed on my machine from that "good bios update" 😄
  3. Thanks Ryanko for heads up, I reached to Dell and they are going to replace motherboard 😕 Not happy about that, but if it can solve the problem, what else I should do....in meantime thanks for help, this is the way 😄
  4. This is nightmare for me, after bios update my cpu is constantly on 400mhz, my gpu is always doing something (about 20% usage), my 128gb camm ram is somehow raising number of gb usage until it reach full capacity and then windows restart itself….I tried also linux, same same….unusable…. this is last time I bought dell machine…..gonna reach pro support what I have with it and then let you guys know….hopefully they will release soon new bios, or I will return it and buy something else….crazy how they can deploy this new bios without properly testing it and what is worse, you cant even downgrade it….shame on dell….
  5. (Update: solved - you need to install original Nvidia Driver - NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-545.29.06 and backlight is working!) Hi guys, Any of you tried to run linux and managed to get display dim on nvidia drivers? Im on Rocky Linux and Gnome (basically Red hat distro), no matter what I tried, display backlight only works on Noveau drivers, on Nvidia drivers Im stuck with 100% brightness on laptop display….Other than that everything works without installing any additional drivers and works nicely! (7670, i9 12950HX, Nvidia 3080ti, 128gb DDR5 Camm)
  6. Hi guys, I've been waiting for my 7670 since July 8th, it looks like they shipped it more than a week ago and still nothing. 😄 Does anyone of you have a uhd+ 16 touch screen? Can you tell me what's the exact piece of hardware is that, or / and type of touch screen? If its active, multitouch or whatever, because I can't find any info about that 😄 Thank you for info!
