  1. I was overclocking my m5100 with VBE https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/vbe7-vbios-editor-for-radeon-hd-7000-series-cards.189089 / the received vbios resets the uefi mode after the firmware, it worked in optimus mode, when it was turned off, there was no image on the laptop screen, only on the external monitor, I couldn't even go into the bios to turn on optimus again 🙂 I flashed the factory vbios from the external monitor so that everything return as it was (it turns out you could just turn off the cmos battery to reset the bios) with the help of your hint, I returned uefi to it, and now it works in discrete graphics mode on the laptop screen. many options in vbe do not work for me, the voltage cannot be raised, I set large values, but there were no changes, the core and memory frequencies can be raised, so as not to flash once again, you can set with a margin of 950/1500, and using msi afterburner gradually increase the frequencies, but do not use furmark for tests, it it shows some incredible figures and in a couple of minutes it will heat up your gpu to 85 degrees, at this point my laptop turns off, but there will be no such heating in games, the maximum that I have seen is 79 degrees, but usually in the range of 69-75. Depending on the game and the number of fps on the core, I got 890/940 on memory mis afterburner limits to 1465. tests show 20-30% increase, fans will work noisier. the last vbios that could be found: 015.036.000.006.046584 https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/230265/230265 during overclocking tests, it seemed to me that it was more stable than my 046365, I have elpida memory I use the old driver 27.20.14540.3(pro 21.Q1.1) most of the time I don't use the m5100, and after disabling all gpu services, the max is heated to 36 degrees, probably this is "zerocore", I don't have a blue screen on this driver when I exit sleep mode in "zerocore" mode
