  1. Hi all, I have a Clevo X170SM-G that's around 4.5 years old. I’m planning to repaste the CPU and GPU soon, but I don’t currently have spare thermal pads on hand. Before I go ahead, I wanted to ask: If I’m just replacing the thermal paste, can I safely remove the heatsink without damaging the thermal pads? Or do they usually tear or get ruined during disassembly? Would really appreciate hearing from others who’ve opened this model before. Just trying to avoid getting stuck mid-job if the pads don’t survive.
  2. Hello community! I have an issue with my XMG170SM-G. Sometimes, I want to run the machine overnight, as I have some programs running (either some AI calculations doing or some automatic ebay-bidding). In order for the machine to stay on and not go into sleep mode, I usually play a 24h video from youtube. The Laptop is plugged into the cable (battery removed). The problem is that the laptop goes to sleep after a random period anyway. Tonight, for example, the video only played to 4h 35min 40s before the laptop went to sleep. I am suspecting, that the issue might be youtube, as I've experienced before that videos sometimes stop randomly from playing. Can you think of any solution? Thanks
