You must be a member at NBR for at least three months to sell items in the Marketplace forum.

You must have at least 100 posts in order to sell an item in the NBR Marketplace or post in the Price Check Forum, This means 100 quality posts, not short spam like "Good Job" or "Nice Deal".

Failure to comply with the above will result in your thread being deleted without warning, no exceptions.

Posts in this forum are strictly moderated. DO NOT make irrelevant comments, free bumps, or anything similar in any thread, no exceptions. Posts must be relevant to the thread.

RULES

Below are the rules for the NBR3.1B Marketplace Forum. Please follow them, as they will be strictly enforced: 

1) To post on the NBR3.1B Marketplace Forum, you must adhere to the following procedures. Failure to comply with these procedures may result in your thread being deleted without warning, at NBR3.1B's sole discretion.

a) Use the template provided in the Marketplace.

b) Register as a member at EFGXT.net for at least 3(three) months to sell items in the Marketplace forum.

c) Have at least 100 posts in order to sell an item in the NBR Marketplace. This means 100 quality posts, not short spam like "Good Job" or "Nice Deal".


2) Posts in this forum are strictly moderated. DO NOT make irrelevant comments, free bumps, or anything similar in any thread, no exceptions. Posts must be relevant to the thread.

3) Prefix the title of your thread with the following tags:

FS - For Sale
FT - For Trade
WTB - Want to Buy
Price Check - Price Check

4) No sale low-balling. If you think someone's price is too high or you want to make a lower offer, PM or e-mail them. There is nothing worse than if you are trying to sell something and someone says that price is too high. That scares off other prospective buyers. On our forums, a lowball is officially defined as an offer less than 75% of the asking price. Buyers offering less than 75% is perfectly fine, but please ask using the PM system.


5) Update your thread when your item(s) gets sold or are no longer available for sale. Report the thread or contact a moderator if you want the thread closed.

6) You MUST post a price for ALL FS (For Sale) deals.

7) You cannot sell something you do not have in your immediate possession.

😎 If you are selling something $20 or over, you must provide pictures of it to show the condition and demonstrate it is in your possession (e.g.: that means including something like a paper note with your username and "NBR3.1B" written on it or a clear picture of NBR3.1B's website on your laptop's screen showing you logged in). Visit: how to post an image. As of January 2021, you MUST include a date on the photo as well. The format is MM/DD/YYYY.

9) Only post tangible items! (No CD keys, game accounts etc.). We make exceptions for Steam games but VERIFY WITH A MODERATOR before posting. Whatever it is, it must be 100% transferable.

10) If software is part of the sale, the original media MUST be included if such media exists. Otherwise, a valid key MUST be included. This applies to all software pre-loaded into a device or just included in the BST.

11) No sale or trade of Not For Resale equipment or software. Also, any software, computers, or media originally purchased through an academic or employee purchase program cannot be sold here unless the EULA specifically grants the end user the right to resell the product. For instance, most APP/EPP copies of Windows Vista cannot be legally resold. Windows Vista Upgrades that were sold with laptops cannot be sold as standalone softwares, and must be included only in a sale with the original PC that was purchased with the upgrade.

12) Be courteous and professional when buying or selling, and please use commonsense.

13) You must wait at least 24 hours before bumping up your thread.

14) Anything listed as OEM must have everything provided with equipment when first purchased.

15) Do not just post external links to eBay or another forum. Add all relevant information to your thread and you can link to eBay as long as previous rules are met.

16) Any payment service that offers a goods type of transaction must be made that way and not as a "gift" payment. You cannot ask for gift payments if another valid type of payment is available. You forfeit transaction protection if you use gift payments.

17) If you have sold items on eBay/Heat, post a link to your screen-name so users can verify your previous history of selling/trading/buying. If you have sold items previously on NBR 3.1B, you may also post user names of those may act as references. If you claim to have eBay feedback, you MUST post a link to the feedback. Saying to PM for a user name is NOT acceptable.

18) You cannot ask for donations (and/or other freebies. Rep included).

19) Absolutely no jokes in the B/S/T forum. Transactions are serious and people will get irritated by jokes involving monetary loss.

20) NBR 3.1B administrators and moderators reserve the right (but has no obligation) to block any sellers who repeatedly fail to follow these rules. NBR 3.1B has a zero-tolerance policy against sellers who market stolen or pirated goods, and those selling said goods may find themselves blocked upon their first offense. If it isn't legal, don't post it for sale.

21) If your post does not conform to these rules, NBR 3.1B administrators and moderators reserve the rights (but has no obligation) to delete any of your listings without notice.

If you're doing a price check on an item(s) you might like to sell, searching the completed auctions for same or similar items on eBay is probably a good ballpark of what someone who you don't know is willing to pay for your item for sale. You'll need an account on eBay to search complete auctions, but hey, it's free.
