kojack
My acer now has a 720p display 1440x720, I am looking for a 1080 replacement display. Anyone know how I would go about this? I know someone on the old site had a listing for it. 1 Workstation - Dell XPS 8940 - desktop creative powerhouse Mobile Workstation - Dell inspiron 5406 2 in 1 - mobile creative beast Wifey's Notebook - Dell inspiron 3169 - Little gem for our businesses

I had an 8930g with the 18' and the HD+ screen. I believe the process might be similar. I tracked down the service manual and found out the part number for the items I had to take. If my memory is correct, - I bought the 1920x1080 screen. - An power inverter with two power outputs The 1080p screen had two CCFLs. The 720p screen had one CCFL. Resulting a better brightness for the 1080p screen. Installing it was plug and play, since there was a 8930g with a 1080p screen, so the service manual was very helpful. Hope I helped you! 1 Spoiler Alienware M18x R2 i7 3720qm -> i7 3940XM Dual 7970m -> 980m SLI -> HP Quadro RTX 3000 Alienware 17 R1 4710MQ 880M GTX -> PNY Quadro RTX 3000 HP 8570w i7 3820qm Quadro K2000M HP DV6000 T72000 -> T9500
