compatibility of MXM 3 graphics cards with clevo/hasee p775tm laptop

I own a clevo/hasee p775tm laptop with a nvidia 1060 mxm 3 graphics card. Apparently the card burned out. First there were blinks then error 43. As a replacement found only one model available in my area is Nvidia Quadro 5010M-4GB in mxm 3 standard.  The seller who sold me the laptop said that only cards from 10 series and above will be compatible. He did not give any clear information why.
Will the Nvidia Quadro 5010M be compatible with my laptop? Is there any information about this?

Thank you for reply runix18! I'm from Batumi (Georgia is not a US state), that is, it means that the previous cards on a different architecture will not work?

I mean a Maxell could work, but you will have to keep in mind that the heatsink might not fit due different shape and size.

It's strange that again someone asks for the same thing 😂

Long time ago i had mxm3.0 nvidia cards on my 775dmg3...you definitely need a modded heatsink with modded drivers

I don't have the heatsink anymore but the cards I tested was gtx 880m 965m,970m,980m...the cards older than 880 series will not work as far I know...I am sure that I also asked runix about this back then 😊

Will send a picture today here..
