GE76 with 18" QHD 240hz 500nits 😆 🤣 😂 😹

I decided to order the new 18" QHD and install it on a GE76. Looks fabulous 👌.

Where did you get it, got a link?

I have a bunch of older DTRs here that could easily fit the new panel as they are all at least 415mm wide but I am not sure if they will support QHD with a 240Hz refresh rate - that is a lot more bandwidth than even the old UHD 60hz panels.

Original screen on my GE76 was 144hz .. standard edp 40 pin 0.5 pitch. So I used the same video cable.

Its listed for $288 shipped, but make an offer for $250. I'm in US so it took a little bit over a week. Its a really beautiful screen.

Thanks - I had seen that one but I noticed that many complained about bright corners with this screen in the Asus G18.

Is that an issue with yours, too?

The reason for the bleeding is because asus lcd trim holds the screen on too tight. I noticed faint light bleed on mine , but not the same bleeding as the ones on the G18.

I ask because I absolutely love glossy screens. Won't use anything else.
