iieeann
Seems like someone has tried with the new BE201 CNvio3 on 7680 but without driver. https://community.intel.com/t5/Wireless/Intel-Wifi-7-BE201-driver-download/m-p/1621538 He mentioned the device shown up under device manager. Whether a correct driver will make it work or not is unknown. Earlier when i tried BE200 on 7780 it was not detected at all nothing appeared. Not sure from where he got the card, i can't find it yet in the market. woffe
Hi, that's me who tried it :) but still mo driver available. The Intel support is useless... In Germany you can order this card without any problems. https://www.alternate.de/Intel/Wi-Fi-7-BE201-non-vPro-WLAN-Adapter/html/product/100044906?srsltid=AfmBOooN-Pvg3ZHnmPNJmMC0Sr2iglrINY8H5BzW8d-hAROWxvv_hpNk The only reason why i will try the BE201 is the slow speed/inconsistent speed of the AX211 in this device. In my office i have 500 Mbits download speed, all other devices (Dell Latitude, HP Zbook) will have 900 Mbits Download speed at the exact same place. This devices connected to the Accespoint with 2401 Mbit, the 7680 only with 800-900 Mbit. Maybe the antennas are not so good on this device. iieeann
I see. The reason i get this card is purely for fun, i seldom use wifi. I use the laptop with 95% of the time lid closed, using TB3 external enclosure LAN card. Hopefully the driver will be available soon. Did u ask the seller about that? Aaron44126
The driver will eventually be available through Dell or other OEMs, just need to look / wait for systems that ship with BE201 preinstalled. That said, I highly doubt that this will work even after the driver is made available. Most likely, there will just be an error in Device Manager and the driver will fail to load. Best case, it "works" but just gives the same Wi-Fi 6 speed. CNVi cards are not a full Wi-Fi implementation; the most important stuff is in the PCH, and the PCH in this system predates Wi-Fi 7. yslalan
Just updated to BIOS v1.15, Dell has updated the CPU microcode to 129h to avoid BSOD issues in 13th/14th Gen CPUs. There's no reason this would be limited to a certain capacity. It'll probably need an adapter (M.2 keys are different for that slot than for the NVMe slots) and it will not be bootable (at least not without chaining off of a bootloader installed on a different drive). yslalan
If you consult the motherboard schematic, you will notice that the OLED display control signals originate from both the TouchScreen/IR connector and the eDP connector. mspx
I couldn't find many information about 7680 so let me ask here, please. What are your idle temperatures of CPU Core and Package? I have i7-13850HX and while idle temperature of CPU Cores is around 56-59°C, the CPU Package is around 70°C. Such difference seems too high to me. On previous precisions with i7-11850 or i7-12850 I saw difference just few degrees.

Aaron44126
You can swap the display. In this model, you have to replace the entire top of the laptop — display panel, enclosure, camera, and cabling. Dell offers. This as a single part (i.e. for warranty service). I’ve seen it, I had the panel in my Precision 7770 replaced *three times*. The panel by itself would be difficult to swap — it is held in place by adhesive, not screws. A new display cable will be needed but that should come with the part if you replace the entire top. If your FHD model has WWAN antennas, I think you will lose those too. 1 Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2023 (personal) • Dell Precision 7560 (work) • Full specs in spoiler block below Info posts (Windows) — Turbo boost toggle • The problem with Windows 11 • About Windows 10/11 LTSC Spoiler Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2023 (personal) M2 Max 4 efficiency cores 8 performance cores 38-core Apple GPU 96GB LPDDR5-6400 8TB SSD macOS 15 "Sequoia" 16.2" 3456×2234 120 Hz mini-LED ProMotion display Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth 5.3 99.6Wh battery 1080p webcam Fingerprint reader Also — iPhone 12 Pro 512GB, Apple Watch Series 8 Dell Precision 7560 (work) Intel Xeon W-11955M ("Tiger Lake") 8×2.6 GHz base, 5.0 GHz turbo, hyperthreading ("Willow Cove") 64GB DDR4-3200 ECC NVIDIA RTX A2000 4GB Storage: 512GB system drive (Micron 2300) 4TB additional storage (Sabrent Rocket Q4) Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 15.6" 3940×2160 IPS display Intel Wi-Fi AX210 (Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth 5.3) 95Wh battery 720p IR webcam Fingerprint reader Previous Dell Precision 7770, 7530, 7510, M4800, M6700 Dell Latitude E6520 Dell Inspiron 1720, 5150 Dell Latitude CPi

You'll be looking for something like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/387256270062 Note, I don't know the part number for the UHD panel and I don't know if this item is the UHD or FHD version. Someone with the UHD panel can get the part number by visiting dell.com/support, putting in their service tag, and looking at the parts list. (Also I will say that it is likely that a Precision 7770 display would work fine, but I have not seen that confirmed.) I don't know where to get one from, either. I've purchased laptop displays from eBay sellers before but I have ended up disappointed more often than satisfied. If you have purchased a matrix to replace the display, you will definitely need a hair dryer, with its help you need to heat the edges of the display, since the display frame is held by clips and double-sided tape, the frame is very easy to break. The display in the back cover is held on the side strips, you will also need a hairdryer to remove it. To install the display in the new back cover (with WWAN option), it must be placed on the new adhesive tapes, and the protective film does not need to be removed from the tape yet.
