ssj92
Anyone know when the X14 will be released or when it can be ordered? Not sure if I'll be able to get one or want one depending on price but it's the most interesting one to me for now. Maxware79
An X13 would have been a little more interesting to me. I still don't think I could ever buy a laptop with soldered memory though. The lack of display options is a bit of a letdown as well. Maybe they could have found more options in 13" (OLED touchscreen perhaps?....) ssj92
I think the size is smaller than AW 13 R3. bezels are very thin. I agree on soldered RAM and LCD options but 1080p 400nits dolby vision and 99% P3 gamut is very good. It might be a mini led panel Alienware m18 : Intel Core i9 13900HX @ 5.0Ghz | nVidia GeForce RTX 4090 | K1675 | 2x1TB SSDs Alienware Area-51M : Intel Core i9-9900K @ 5.3Ghz | nVidia GeForce RTX 2080 | AX210 | Samsung 970 Evo+ Alienware M18x R2 : Intel Core i7 3920XM @ 4.7Ghz | nVidia Quadro RTX 5000 | AX210 | Samsung 980 PRO Alienware 18 : Intel Core i7 4930MX @ 4.5Ghz | nVidia Quadro RTX 3000 | AX210 | Samsung 980 NVMe More Laps: M14x (555m) | M14xR2 (650m) | M15x (980m) | M17xR3 (880m) | M18xR1 (RTX 5000) BEAST Server: Intel Xeon W7-3465X 28 P-Cores | nVidia Titan V | 128GB RDIMM | Intel Optane P5800X CS Studios YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/CSStudiosYT
Maxware79
I'll be looking forward to your review. Post your Youtube link when you've done it 😉 It's actually the only AW laptop that I've been interested in looking at for some time. Reciever
I'd like a 13" AW laptop, had the AW13 R3 but I was a bit misled (and a bit ignorant) as it has the Fn key for Graphics switching but there was no MUX on it so it doesnt actually switch anything...I had it for a year, really liked the chassis but I cant get used to the input lag Optimus can introduce. ssj92
$2,184.23 after tax. I was only able to get $41 savings lol. Was hoping to get it at $2,000 after tax max. Might wait for now. My config is the i7 32gb ram, 512gb ssd, rtx 3060. Maybe I'll try another rep. I got $400 off on my Area-51m. Dude said laptop was just released but my Area-51m was also just released. Funny you mention this. I cannot perceive any input lag on my M18xR2 or AW 18 in Optimus mode. I think this was something more unique to that generation of laptops or the 13 itself. 13 did have input lag for sure. The Alienware laptops of that era could switch around (as you know) so sometime I think maybe that's why they had better results? No idea, could be a list of parts contributing to input lag. Internal panel. I don't use external on any of my laptops. 1 Alienware m18 : Intel Core i9 13900HX @ 5.0Ghz | nVidia GeForce RTX 4090 | K1675 | 2x1TB SSDs Alienware Area-51M : Intel Core i9-9900K @ 5.3Ghz | nVidia GeForce RTX 2080 | AX210 | Samsung 970 Evo+ Alienware M18x R2 : Intel Core i7 3920XM @ 4.7Ghz | nVidia Quadro RTX 5000 | AX210 | Samsung 980 PRO Alienware 18 : Intel Core i7 4930MX @ 4.5Ghz | nVidia Quadro RTX 3000 | AX210 | Samsung 980 NVMe More Laps: M14x (555m) | M14xR2 (650m) | M15x (980m) | M17xR3 (880m) | M18xR1 (RTX 5000) BEAST Server: Intel Xeon W7-3465X 28 P-Cores | nVidia Titan V | 128GB RDIMM | Intel Optane P5800X CS Studios YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/CSStudiosYT
