1610ftw Posted October 1, 2024 Share Posted October 1, 2024 Cooling won't be a problem as the 1080s in the GT83 are the full fat 200W version and from what I recall all the MXM 2080s from MSI were limited to 150W. Pretty sure though that extensive modifications of the cooling system will be necessary, not to talk about making the GT83 recognize the 2080 cards.
